5 Modesheat what you actually need
An ordinary geyser has one setting: hot. So whether you're taking a shower, filling a bucket, washing utensils or mopping a floor, you heat the same water to the same temperature and pay the same for it. The Urbane offers five dedicated modes — Shower for comfortable bathing, Bucket for efficient use of stored water, Washing for laundry and utensils, Mopping for cleaning, and Pedicure for controlled warmth. Each heats to what the task requires. Mopping water doesn't need to be shower-hot, and on a geyser used several times a day that difference lands on your electricity bill month after month.
Express Heat — 33% faster, on less power
The usual way to heat water faster is simply to fit a bigger element, which means a higher bill and heavier load on your wiring. AO Smith has done the opposite here: Express Heat delivers hot water 33% faster than a 3kW heater while this unit draws only 2000 watts. Faster and lower-powered at once is unusual, and it matters in two ways — you wait considerably less on a winter morning, and a 2000W appliance is gentler on domestic wiring than a 3000W one. Paired with a 5 Star rating, it's a geyser that costs less to run in every sense.
Blue Diamond® lining — because the tank is what actually fails
Geysers rarely fail because the element burns out; that's a cheap repair. They fail because the tank corrodes from inside and starts leaking, and at that point the whole unit comes off the wall. Delhi's hard water accelerates it. AO Smith's answer is Blue Diamond® glass lining fused to the tank interior so the steel never touches the water attacking it, designed for the toughest water conditions. Alongside sit a glass-coated Incoloy element resisting the scale that slows heating, and an anode rod with twice the standard lifespan — a sacrificial part that corrodes so the tank doesn't. The 7-year tank warranty is AO Smith backing all three.
