An office cabin, a doctor's chamber, a shop counter or a small pantry usually has room for one appliance. These two numbers are worth reading properly, because they tell you where the running cost actually sits. The heater draws 500 watts. The cooling draws 120. So the hot tap is more than four times the load of the cold one — which is the opposite of what most people assume. The practical consequence: if the office is shut for a few days, or nobody drinks tea through the summer months, switching off the heating at the rear switch is where the saving is, not the cooling. The three functions are independently switched, so you can run cold-only through May and June and turn the heater back on when the weather changes. Warranty as per Blue Star's terms and conditions — 1 year manufacturer warranty, subject to T&C; the scope of cover, exclusions, installation requirements and the service process are subject to brand policy and the final invoice or warranty card. Water cans, bottles and their contents are not supplied with the dispenser. Heating and cooling performance, water temperature, recovery time and power consumption vary with inlet water temperature, ambient temperature, ventilation clearance, frequency of use, volume drawn, thermostat setting, voltage and maintenance. The 15-litre cooling cabinet is a chilled storage compartment, not a freezer, and its holding temperature depends on ambient conditions, door opening frequency and load. Where items have a defined storage temperature requirement, including medicines, the user is responsible for verifying the temperature independently and following the relevant storage instructions; no compliance guarantee is made. This dispenser cools, heats and dispenses water; it does not purify, filter or treat water, and makes no claim regarding water quality, purity or safety — use water from a source you have independently satisfied yourself is safe to drink. Hot water is dispensed at a temperature capable of causing scalding; this model does not include a child lock on the hot tap, so switch off the heating function where children may have access, and supervise children at all times. This is a top-loading dispenser and requires lifting and inverting a filled can. Install on a level, stable floor away from heat sources, and connect to a properly rated earthed supply. Switch off at the socket before changing the can or cleaning. Clean and sanitise the tank and drip tray periodically as described in the user manual.
