Description
A Stainless Steel Tank.
Not Plastic. That's the Part That Matters.
A compact table top dispenser that gives you hot, cold and room-temperature water from three separate taps · inside is a food-grade stainless steel tank rather than plastic — it will not rust, will not take up odour, and will not grow the biofilm that plastic tanks develop over years of standing water · 3 litres stored, cooling up to 3 litres an hour and heating up to 5 litres an hour · a tough ABS body and a heavy-duty bottle piercer with holder · it sits on a counter rather than taking floor space · 31 × 35 cm footprint · made in India · 1 year manufacturer warranty
Table
topwhat that actually means for your kitchen
Most dispensers are floor-standing units about four feet tall that occupy a permanent corner of a room. This one is a table top unit at 49 cm — it sits on a kitchen counter, a sideboard or an office table, and the 20-litre bottle goes on top of it. Two things follow from that, and both are worth thinking through before you order. The good part: it takes no floor space at all, sits at a comfortable height so you are not bending to fill a glass, and can be moved to wherever it is needed. The part to plan for: with a bottle inverted on top, the total height is roughly the 49 cm of the unit plus about 50 cm of bottle, so you need close to a metre of clear space above the counter — a low overhead cabinet will not allow it. Measure that gap before ordering; it is the single commonest reason a table top dispenser goes back.
Why the tank material is worth paying attention to
Every dispenser holds a few litres of standing water at room temperature, day after day, and what that water sits in determines how it tastes and how hygienic it stays. Cheaper units use plastic tanks, which are fine when new but scratch internally over time, and those scratches hold mineral scale and biofilm that no amount of rinsing reaches. That is why an old dispenser starts to give water a faint stale or plastic taste. Food-grade stainless steel does not scratch the same way, does not absorb odour, will not rust, and can be cleaned properly. It is also what allows the hot tank to be heated repeatedly without degrading. Two habits go with it: sanitise the tank every few months per the manual, and do not leave water standing unused for weeks — drain it before a long trip and refill fresh on your return.
The hot tap and children — please read this before you position it
The hot water from a dispenser is close to boiling, and it comes out of a tap at a child's eye level when the unit is on a low table. Scalds from water dispensers are one of the more common household injuries involving small children, and they happen because a hot tap is as easy to press as a cold one. Three things to do. Place the unit well back on a counter that a small child cannot reach, not on a low side table. Check whether the hot tap on your unit has a child-safety catch that must be pressed or lifted before it flows — this model's supplied material does not state one, so ask us and confirm it before you buy if you have young children. And if you rarely use hot water, switch the heating off at the rear switch entirely rather than leaving a hot tank live.
🚰 Three separate taps
Hot
Tea, coffee, instant noodles
Normal
Room temperature, no cooling used
Cold
Chilled through summer
The normal tap is more useful than it sounds. Many households drink room-temperature water most of the year — and every glass drawn from the normal tap costs nothing to cool or heat, which keeps the running cost down.
🎯 Suited to
Important: this is a dispenser, not a purifier. It cools, heats and dispenses water from a sealed bottle — it does not filter or purify. If you want treated water from your own supply, ask us about an RO purifier instead, or use one alongside this.
Pierces the seal cleanly as the bottle seats, with a holder to keep it steady — the part that wears out first on cheaper dispensers.
Impact-resistant plastic that takes knocks in a busy kitchen or office corridor without cracking.
Enough for a steady run of tea and coffee through an office morning without waiting for the tank to recover.
Sits on an existing counter — no dedicated corner, no floor footprint, and taps at a comfortable standing height.

Blue Star BWD3TTGA Table Top Water Dispenser · Hot, Cold & Normal · Three Separate Taps · Food-Grade Stainless Steel Tank · 3 Litre Storage · Heating Up To 5 L/Hour · Tough ABS Body · Heavy-Duty Bottle Piercer With Holder · 31 × 35 × 49 cm · 11 kg · White & Blue · Made In India · 1 Year Manufacturer Warranty
Warranty as per Blue Star terms and conditions — 1 year manufacturer warranty as stated in supplier material. The scope of cover, parts and labour, coverage of the compressor or cooling system, tank, taps and bottle piercer, exclusions, product registration and the service process are subject to brand policy and the final invoice or warranty card. Taps, seals, piercers and drip trays may be treated as wear or accessory items and covered differently; damage arising from misuse, dry heating, unsuitable electrical supply, scale build-up from untreated water or unauthorised servicing is commonly excluded. Supplier material states the cooling capacity as 2.5 litres per hour in one place and 3 litres per hour in another; this should be confirmed before purchase. Presence of a child safety lock on the hot tap, hot and cold water temperatures, power consumption, operating voltage, compatible bottle size, cooling technology, refrigerant, drip tray and the presence of separate hot and cold switches are not stated in supplier material and should be confirmed before purchase; the presence of a hot tap child lock in particular should be confirmed by households with young children. Stated cooling and heating capacities are manufacturer figures measured under their own test conditions; actual performance varies with ambient temperature, incoming water temperature, frequency of use, volume drawn and supply voltage. This appliance is a water dispenser and is not a water purifier or filter: it does not treat, filter or purify water, and water quality is entirely determined by the bottled water used, which should be sourced sealed from a reliable supplier. This product is a household appliance and not a medical device; no health, hygiene or medical outcome is claimed or implied, and references to tank material describe construction rather than a health benefit. The hot water tap dispenses water at high temperature capable of causing serious scalding, particularly to children; the appliance must be positioned out of reach of small children, children must not be permitted to operate the taps unsupervised, and the heating function should be switched off when not required. A full 20 litre bottle weighs approximately 20 kg and presents a lifting and dropping hazard when mounted at counter height. The appliance must stand squarely on a stable, level, dry surface capable of supporting the loaded weight, must not be tilted or moved with a bottle mounted, must never be operated with an empty tank, must be switched off and unplugged before the bottle is changed or before cleaning, must be connected to a properly earthed socket, must never be immersed or have water poured over it, and must be given ventilation clearance at the rear and sides. The tanks and taps require periodic cleaning and sanitising as directed in the manual, and should be drained before extended periods of non-use. Discontinue use and disconnect the appliance if the cord or plug is damaged, if water leaks from the body, or if it trips the electrical supply.
