There are two kinds of tumble dryer and the difference decides whether one can go in your home at all. A vented dryer blows hot damp air out through a duct, which means a hole in an outside wall — impossible in most rented flats and awkward in a finished kitchen or bathroom. A condenser dryer, which this is, works differently: it cools the damp air, condenses the moisture back into water, and collects it in a tank you empty like a jug. Warranty as per Bosch India's terms and conditions — 2 years comprehensive, subject to T&C; the scope of cover, exclusions, installation requirements, product registration and the service process are subject to brand policy and the final invoice or warranty card. Drying time, results, capacity in practice and energy consumption vary with fabric type, garment weight and thickness, load size, residual moisture after the wash cycle and spin speed used, selected programme and dryness level, ambient temperature and humidity, filter and condenser condition, ventilation around the appliance and voltage; the 8 kg figure is a manufacturer rating for suitable fabrics and does not apply to every garment type. The appliance must be installed on a level floor with adequate ventilation clearance and connected to a properly earthed power point; electrical work, socket provision, stacking kit, plumbing for optional direct drain where applicable and any civil work are chargeable separately unless expressly included on the final invoice. Do not stack the dryer on a washing machine without the manufacturer's approved stacking kit.
