ADOSstop guessing the cap
Almost everybody uses too much detergent, and it causes the exact problems people blame the machine for. Excess detergent produces foam that cushions the clothes so the drum action can't work on them — so the wash gets worse, not better. What doesn't rinse away stays in the fabric, which is what makes towels stiff and can irritate skin, and the rest builds up inside the machine and starts to smell. ADOS measures the dose itself against the load, so the right amount goes in every cycle without anyone judging it by eye. Two consequences worth having: clothes actually come out cleaner, and a bottle of detergent lasts considerably longer. Dosing accuracy depends on using a compatible liquid detergent and keeping the reservoir filled as the manual describes.
AI ActiveWater — water set to the load, not to the drum
A basic washing machine fills to a set level regardless of what's inside, so a half load of shirts uses roughly the same water as a full load of bedsheets. In a city where water is neither cheap nor reliable, that's waste you pay for twice — once in water, once in the electricity to heat it. AI ActiveWater senses the load and the fabric and draws only what that wash needs. The practical effect is most obvious on the small and medium loads that make up most household washing, and it's a large part of why this machine holds a 5 Star rating on a 10 kg drum — a big machine that fills to the brim every time could not.
Reload — the answer to the sock you found after starting the cycle
This is the small feature people appreciate most in daily use. On an ordinary front-loader, once the cycle has started and the drum has filled, the door locks and stays locked — so the shirt you forgot waits for the next wash. Reload lets you pause and add items mid-cycle when the machine's conditions allow it, meaning the water level and temperature are safe to open at. In a household where several people put washing on, that's the difference between one cycle and two. Being straight about the limit: it won't open at any point in any programme — once the wash is hot or well advanced, the machine will keep the door shut, and that's a safety interlock, not a fault.

Warranty as per Bosch India's terms and conditions — 3 years comprehensive on the product and 12 years on the motor, subject to T&C; the scope of cover for the motor, PCB, drum, heater, pump, door and gasket, detergent dosing system, display and control panel, hoses, labour, parts and accessories, along with exclusions, installation requirements, product registration and the service process, is subject to brand policy and the final invoice or warranty card. Wash results, stain removal, cycle duration, spin performance, residual moisture, detergent dosing accuracy, water and energy consumption, noise and vibration vary with fabric type, load size and composition, soil level, detergent type and dosage, water hardness, inlet water temperature and pressure, selected programme and options, voltage, installation quality, levelling and maintenance; the stated 1400 RPM figure is the maximum spin speed and is not available on every programme, and lower speeds should be used where the garment care label requires. ADOS automatic dosing requires a compatible liquid detergent and correct filling and maintenance of the dosing reservoir as described in the user manual. SpeedPerfect shortens cycle time and increases energy consumption accordingly. The BEE star rating is as certified at the time of manufacture and is subject to periodic revision; stated energy figures are measured on a reference programme under standard test conditions and are not a guarantee of actual consumption.
