Blower
modethe half a vacuum can't reach
Every vacuum can pull dirt out of somewhere its nozzle fits. The problem in most Indian homes is everywhere the nozzle does not fit. Window grills, the gap behind a fixed cupboard, the ribbed rubber of a car footwell, balcony corners packed with dry leaves and dust, the vents on a computer, the space under a heavy sofa — these hold more accumulated dust than open floor does, and suction alone cannot get at them. Reversing the airflow solves it from the other direction. Instead of trying to reach in, you blow the dust out into the open where it can then be vacuumed up normally. It is the single most useful thing about this machine, and it is why a two-mode vacuum earns its place in a home that already has a broom. Two sensible cautions: do it before you vacuum rather than after, and it is best done with windows open, since blowing dust out means putting it into the air first.
The bag full indicator — why suction fades and how you know
Bagged vacuums lose suction gradually as the bag fills, and the loss is slow enough that most people never notice it happening. What they notice is that the machine "isn't as good as it was" a year in — and very often the machine is fine and the bag is simply full. Air has to pass through the collected dust to get out, and as that layer thickens, airflow drops and pickup falls with it. The dust bag full indicator removes the guesswork by telling you when the bag has reached capacity, rather than leaving you to judge it by feel. Two practical points. Change or empty the bag when the indicator says so rather than when the machine feels weak, because by then you have already been cleaning at reduced suction for weeks. And dust bags are consumables — worth asking us for the replacement type and price when you buy, so you are not hunting for them later.
Variable power — turning it down is not a compromise
Full suction is the right setting for a floor or a carpet and the wrong setting for a good many other things. A curtain at full power will be pulled into the nozzle rather than cleaned. A loose-woven upholstery fabric can be stretched. A light rug will simply be lifted off the floor, and a keyboard or a shelf of small objects will lose whatever was not fastened down. Variable power control exists for exactly these jobs: turn it down and the nozzle glides over the fabric picking up dust rather than gripping the material. The rule of thumb is straightforward — the lighter and looser the material, the lower the setting, and it is always safer to start low and work up. Turn it back up for floors, carpets and anything with dust ground into it.
🧰 The five attachments and what each is for
The crevice nozzle is the one most people underuse — skirting edges, sofa seams, window channels and the gap between car seats. The extension tubes plus the hose are what let a floor-standing machine reach curtain rails and ceiling corners without a ladder.
🎯 Suited to
At 4 kg and 35 cm wide this is a carry-it-anywhere machine rather than a large canister — light enough to take out to the car or up a flight of stairs without it becoming a chore. Vertical parking means it stores in a cupboard corner rather than lying flat.
The cord retracts at the press of a button rather than being wound round the body. Minor on paper, and the difference between a tidy cupboard and a tangle.
Dirt is collected in a bag rather than a bin, so disposal means removing the bag rather than tipping loose dust into the rubbish and back into the air.
Light enough to carry between rooms and out to the car, and stands upright for storage in a narrow space.

Warranty as per Eureka Forbes terms and conditions — 1 year comprehensive as stated in supplier material. The scope of cover, parts and labour, exclusions, product registration and the service process are subject to brand policy and the final invoice or warranty card. Dust bags, filters and attachments are consumable or accessory items and are generally excluded from warranty cover; they require periodic replacement and are a recurring cost. Dust bag type, capacity and replacement cost are not stated in supplier material and should be confirmed before purchase, as availability of the correct bag determines the long-term usability of a bagged vacuum. Motor power of 1200 W is the electrical input rating and is not a measure of suction; suction performance expressed in airwatts, kPa or equivalent is not stated in supplier material and should be confirmed if comparing against other machines, as input wattage is not comparable between models or brands. Filtration type, cord length and noise level are also not stated and should be confirmed before purchase. Cleaning performance depends on surface type, dust load, the attachment used, bag and filter condition, cord reach, technique and maintenance; suction reduces as the dust bag fills, and the bag should be changed when the indicator shows full rather than when performance is noticeably affected. Explanations of blower mode, bag loading and variable power provided here are general information to aid understanding and are not manufacturer specifications. This product is a cleaning appliance and not a medical device. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or condition including allergy or asthma, and no health outcome is claimed or implied. This is a dry vacuum cleaner and must not be used to pick up water, liquids or damp material unless expressly permitted in the manufacturer's instructions. It must not be used on hot ash, embers, smouldering material, flammable liquids or vapours, sharp objects, broken glass, plaster, cement or fine construction dust. It must always be operated with the dust bag and filters correctly fitted, and must not be run with a blocked hose, tube or bag. A mask should be worn and the area ventilated when using blower mode; the airflow must never be directed at people or animals. Keep hair, loose clothing and fingers clear of the suction inlet and keep children away during operation. The appliance must be connected to a properly earthed socket, must not be operated with wet hands or in wet areas, and must be unplugged before changing attachments, bags or filters or before cleaning. Do not pull the appliance by the cord or run it over the cord, and discontinue use if the cord or plug is damaged. Allow the appliance to cool and check for blockages if it becomes hot or the motor sound changes.
