Blend It In the Pot.
Nothing to Pour, Nothing to Wash.

The one blending tool that goes to the food instead of the food coming to it · a single-piece stainless steel arm with no plastic couplers — the joint that fails first on cheaper hand blenders simply is not there · 200 W · a detachable stainless steel blade for blending, whipping and pureeing · works directly in hot soup, dal and gravy, so nothing is decanted into a jar and back · low noise, from having fewer moving parts · a hanging stand so it stores on a hook rather than filling a drawer · ISI certified · made in India · 2 year warranty

Ask anyone whose hand blender has died how it went, and the answer is usually the same: it stopped spinning while the motor kept running. That is a plastic coupler stripping — the small toothed connector where the motor body meets the blending arm, which on most machines in this price range is moulded plastic. It takes the full twisting force of a blade meeting thick dal or a stringy vegetable, and after enough of that it rounds off. The arm is then useless and generally not sold separately, so the appliance goes in the bin. A single-piece stainless steel arm removes that failure point entirely: there is no plastic joint to strip because the arm is one continuous piece of steel. It is the least visible specification on the box and the one that decides whether the thing is still working in five years. Worth asking about on any hand blender you compare.

Straight into the hot pot — which is the entire point

A mixer grinder cannot take hot liquid. Pour boiling soup into a sealed jar and the steam builds pressure until the lid comes off, which is how people get scalded. So with a mixer the routine is: cool the dal, ladle it into the jar, blend, pour it back, reheat — and wash the jar, the lid and the gasket afterwards. A hand blender does the whole job in the pan the food is already in. Blend the dal on the stove, purée the tomato gravy where it is cooking, smooth a soup without moving it. Nothing is decanted, nothing cools down, and the only thing to wash is the arm itself under the tap. For everyday Indian cooking — dal, tomato and onion gravies, soups, baby food — that is a genuinely different kitchen routine, and it is why a hand blender earns counter space alongside a mixer rather than instead of one.

🌀

Using it well — depth, angle and the splash problem

Hand blenders have a reputation for redecorating kitchens, and it comes down to technique rather than the machine. Three things fix it. Submerge the blade guard fully before switching on, and switch off before lifting it out — a spinning blade breaking the surface is what throws gravy across the counter. Use a tall narrow vessel rather than a wide shallow one where possible; depth contains the splash and circulates the food better. And tilt the blender slightly and move it slowly around the pan rather than holding it still, which draws food down into the blade instead of letting it spin in a hollow. Two more things worth knowing: work in short bursts and let the motor rest, since small motors heat quickly under load, and take the pan off the flame before blending — melting the guard against a hot pan base is an easy mistake to make once.

⚙️ Hand blender with steel arm 📄 User manual and warranty card

No beaker, whisk attachment or chopper bowl is listed for this model. If you want a whisk or a measuring beaker with it, ask us what is available before you order rather than assuming they are in the carton.

🎯 Suited to

Dal & Soups Tomato & Onion Gravies Baby Food Smoothies & Milkshakes Sauces & Mayonnaise Everyday Light Prep

A hand blender complements a mixer grinder rather than replacing it. It is for soft food and liquid. It will not grind dry masala, make idli batter or crush ice — for those, ask us for a mixer.

🔪 Detachable Steel Blade

Comes apart for proper cleaning, and steel handles the acid in tomato and lime without pitting the way plated metal does.

🔇 Low Noise

Fewer moving parts than a mixer grinder means a quieter machine — relevant for blending baby food or working early without waking the house.

🪝 Hanging Stand

Stores on a hook rather than taking a drawer, which is how a small appliance stays in daily use instead of disappearing into a cupboard.

🛡️ ISI Certified

Tested to the Indian standard for insulation and safety — a real check on a mains appliance held in a wet hand over a hot pan.

⚠️ A mains appliance with an exposed blade, used one-handed over hot food. Please read this. 1. The blade is exposed and extremely sharp. Never touch it, and take particular care when detaching, washing and drying it — this is where hand blender injuries happen. 2. Unplug before attaching or detaching the arm or blade, and before cleaning. Never clear a blockage with the unit plugged in. 3. Never put your hand or a utensil into the vessel while it is running. 4. Keep the blade fully submerged before switching on and switch off before lifting it out, or hot food is thrown out of the pan. 5. Take the pan off the flame before blending. A gas flame around the sides of a pan will damage the guard and the cord, and hot food splashing from a pan on a live burner is a burn risk. 6. Take great care with hot liquids. Do not fill the vessel to the brim, keep your face and free hand away, and be aware that hot dal and gravy splash and stick to skin. 7. Never immerse the motor body in water. Only the detachable arm may be washed; wipe the motor unit with a damp cloth and dry it. 8. Do not use with wet hands, do not operate on a wet surface, and connect only to a properly earthed socket. 9. Work in short bursts and let the motor rest. A small motor under continuous load overheats. 10. Do not use it on hard or dry items — ice, dry masala, bones or frozen food will damage the blade and motor. 11. Keep the cord clear of the hob, the pan and the work area, and never let it hang where a child can pull it. 12. Keep out of reach of children, and never leave it plugged in unattended. 13. Do not use if the cord, plug, arm or blade is damaged, bent or loose, and stop immediately if the motor labours, smells hot or the sound changes.

Warranty as per Glen terms and conditions — 2 years manufacturer warranty as stated in supplier material. The scope of cover, parts and labour, exclusions, product registration and the service process are subject to brand policy and the final invoice or warranty card. Blades, arms and attachments may be treated as wear or accessory items and covered differently; damage arising from misuse, use on hard, dry or frozen items, exceeding the run-time limit, immersion of the motor body or unauthorised servicing is commonly excluded. Number of speed settings, continuous run time limit, weight, dimensions, arm length, cord length, maximum permitted liquid temperature, decibel rating and the availability of a beaker or whisk attachment are not stated in supplier material and should be confirmed before purchase; arm length in particular determines which vessels the blender can reach the bottom of. Motor power of 200 W is the electrical input rating and is not by itself a measure of blending performance. Blending results depend on the ingredients used, their texture, quantity, temperature, vessel shape and depth, blade condition and technique; short pulsed operation generally gives better results than continuous running and reduces motor heating. This appliance is a hand blender intended for soft foods and liquids and is not a substitute for a mixer grinder; it is not intended for dry grinding, grinding masala, batter, crushing ice or processing frozen items or bones. The ISI certification and low-noise description are as stated by the manufacturer. Explanations of coupler construction, in-pot blending and blending technique provided here are general information to aid understanding and are not manufacturer specifications. This product is a kitchen appliance and not a medical device. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or condition, and no health, dietary or infant-nutrition outcome is claimed or implied; where used to prepare food for infants, normal food hygiene and preparation guidance should be followed. The blade is exposed and sharp and must be handled with care at all times, including when the appliance is switched off and during cleaning and drying. The appliance must be unplugged before the arm or blade is fitted or removed, before cleaning and before any blockage is cleared, and no hand or utensil should be introduced into the vessel during operation. The blade must be fully submerged before the appliance is switched on and the appliance switched off before it is withdrawn. Vessels should be removed from the flame before blending. Particular care is required with hot liquids, which splash and can cause scalding; vessels should not be filled to the brim. The motor body must never be immersed in water; only the detachable arm may be washed. The appliance must not be operated with wet hands or on wet surfaces and must be connected to a properly earthed socket. The cord must be kept clear of hobs, pans and the reach of children. The appliance must not be left plugged in unattended and must be kept out of reach of children. Discontinue use if the cord, plug, arm or blade is damaged, or if the motor labours, overheats or sounds abnormal.
