The Neptune VX14 washes a full 14-place load on roughly 12 litres per Eco cycle, against the 40 to 60 litres a comparable load takes at the sink. In-built ion-exchange water softener — hard water solved before it reaches your dishes
Delhi NCR municipal supply typically runs 300–600 ppm TDS — classified hard to very hard. That is the calcium and magnesium that clouds glassware, blunts detergent, and quietly furs up a heating element until the machine is a shadow of what you bought. The VX14 carries a dedicated in-built ion-exchange resin softener: water passes through a resin bed where those hardness minerals are physically exchanged out for sodium before a drop enters the wash chamber. The salt refill funnel in the box regenerates the resin — a pour of dishwasher salt every one to four weeks depending on your water and usage flushes the accumulated minerals and restores full softening capacity. The result is detergent working at full strength, glassware that comes out clear, and a heating element and spray arms protected from limescale for the long life of the machine.
Hygienic Steam Drying — steam at the end of the cycle, not just leftover heat
Ordinary drying leans on residual warmth from the final rinse, which is why plastics come out beaded with water and the centre of a dense load stays damp — and in a Delhi monsoon, damp inside a closed cavity turns into that shut-in smell by morning. The VX14 ends its cycle with a burst of Hygienic Steam Drying. The steam's latent heat restarts evaporation across every surface in the load, cooled plastics included, and the high-temperature steam gives contact surfaces a final hygienic treatment on the way out. Items come out dry, spot-free and storage-ready without a tea towel in sight — which for a home with an infant or an elderly member is the difference that matters most.
