Most 65-inch televisions are one technology doing three jobs badly. The QNED90 stacks three. Quantum Dot film converts the blue backlight into pure red and green wavelengths, expanding colour volume past 90% of the DCI-P3 cinema space so colours stay vivid at full HDR brightness instead of washing out. NanoCell particles roughly one nanometre across filter out the impure yellow-green and red-orange wavelengths that cause colour crosstalk, so a red stays red instead of drifting orange — and colour holds steady out to a 178° viewing angle, which matters when eleven people are watching the match and only two of them got the sofa. Underneath, a Mini LED backlight with Precision Dimming Pro switches thousands of tiny elements off behind the dark parts of the frame while the bright parts stay at full luminance: deep black night sky and bright star clusters in the same shot, without haloing.
α7 Gen5 AI Processor — content-aware picture and sound, frame by frame
Very little of what an Indian household watches is native 4K. Cable cricket, an old Hindi film on an OTT app, 720p YouTube on the family plan — the source quality changes every half hour. AI Picture Pro runs a deep-learning model trained on millions of frames to identify what it is looking at — sport, film, animation, documentary, night scene, skin tone — and applies enhancement built for that content rather than one blanket setting. 4K Upscaling predicts and generates the missing pixel detail in sub-4K sources instead of simply stretching them, so a 1080p Netflix stream lands close to native sharpness across 65 inches. AI Sound Pro reads the audio in real time and reshapes it by content: a stereo track opens into a Virtual 5.1.2 field for music, the soundstage tightens for commentary clarity during sport, and dialogue frequencies lift during speech scenes. The television keeps adapting so you never have to hunt for the right picture mode.
Dolby Vision IQ — HDR that reads the room, not just the film
Dolby Vision carries brightness and colour metadata frame by frame, so the TV adjusts per scene rather than per title. Dolby Vision IQ adds an ambient light sensor to that equation, and in a Delhi flat that is the difference between a good picture and a great one. The same film looks one way at 3 PM with the balcony doors open and June sun coming off the building opposite, and another way at 11 PM with the lights off — Dolby Vision IQ retunes the tone mapping for each, holding shadow detail in the bright room and highlight detail in the dark one. HDR10 Pro brings dynamic tone mapping to the open HDR10 content that makes up most 4K Blu-ray and Prime Video HDR, and Filmmaker Mode, certified by the UHD Alliance, switches off motion smoothing, sharpening and noise reduction so a film plays at the frame rate and colour science its cinematographer graded.
