Eighty-five inches changes what a living room is for. At 215 cm across, a live match stops being something you watch and starts being something you are at; a Friday film fills the wall rather than sitting politely in a corner. And because the panel is 4K Ultra HD at 3840 × 2160 with a direct backlight, that scale does not come at the cost of sharpness — you can sit at normal Delhi drawing-room distance, six or seven feet back on a three-seater, and the picture still resolves cleanly. 4K Super Upscaling does the same job for the older serials and cable feeds that still make up half of Indian viewing, rebuilding lower-resolution content so it holds up on a screen this big.
α7 AI Processor 4K Gen9 — the chip that earns the panel
A big screen is only as good as the processor feeding it. Driven by enhanced GPU and CPU power, the α7 AI Processor 4K Gen9 performs nano-scale image optimisation to deliver 4K clarity with improved contrast and three-dimensional depth. It is the same engine behind AI HDR Remastering, Dynamic Tone Mapping and 4K Super Upscaling — so HDR10 and HLG content arrives with brighter highlights and deeper shadows, and everything below 4K is lifted towards it. AI Genre Selection reads what you are actually watching and lets TruMotion apply exactly the right amount of judder smoothing: crisp and fluid for a Sunday football match, untouched and cinematic for a film. FILMMAKER MODE™ and Auto Calibration are there for the evenings you want the picture exactly as the director graded it.
LG Quad Protection — built for Delhi's grid and Delhi's monsoon
An 85-inch TV is a serious purchase, and in Delhi NCR the threats to it are not theoretical: July storms that put lightning over the colony, the surge that arrives the moment the line comes back after a cut, and August humidity that sits in the wall behind the mount for weeks. LG Quad Protection covers exactly those four fronts — Lightning Strikes Protection, Surge Protection, Humidity Protection, and webOS Protection with LG Shield. It is the difference between a TV that survives its first monsoon intact and one that becomes a service call.

🛠️ Smart features, engineered in
AI Voice ID is the quietly useful one in a joint family — the TV recognises who is speaking and serves that person their own My Page, so your recommendations stay yours and the children's stay theirs.
Secure data storage and management, secure cryptographic algorithms, ensured software integrity, user authentication and access control, secure data transmission, security event detection and response, and secure update management. A smart TV is a device on your home network; this one is built to be treated as such.
Brighter highlights and deeper shadows across HDR10 and HLG content, with AI HDR Remastering and Dynamic Tone Mapping working scene by scene. Sunsets, night cricket under floodlights and dark thriller interiors all keep their detail instead of crushing to black.
The TV identifies the genre and adjusts judder levels to suit it — fast-moving sport stays sharp and clear through the tackle, while films keep their natural cinematic cadence. Nine picture modes let you override it whenever you want.
Dolby Atmos decoding built in, so height and object-based mixes on Netflix and Prime Video play as they were mastered rather than being folded flat into stereo — immersive audio without a separate box on day one.
