Most people don't know horizontal geysers exist, and then it solves a problem they'd assumed was unsolvable. In a modern apartment the bathroom wall is often already taken — by a mirror, a cabinet, a shower panel, or simply by the layout — and a 35-litre vertical geyser has nowhere to go. The HAS-X mounts horizontally, tucked into a loft or above a false ceiling, where it's invisible and takes no usable space at all. You get large-capacity hot water without giving up a square inch of the bathroom. If you're renovating, or fitting out a flat where the plumber has said 35 litres won't fit, this is the answer to that exact objection.
Seven years on the tank — and a hidden geyser needs that more, not less
A geyser has two components that end its life: the tank and the element. This one carries 7 years on the tank, 4 years on the element and 2 years comprehensive — against a category norm of roughly five and two. That matters especially here, because a unit installed above a false ceiling is harder to reach and more expensive to service, so you want the components least likely to need attention. The Blue Diamond® glass lining resists the internal corrosion that kills tanks in hard water, the glass-coated Incoloy element resists scale build-up, and a long-lasting anode rod corrodes sacrificially so the tank doesn't.
8 bar — the spec that decides whether it survives your building
Water pressure in a multi-storey building — especially on the lower floors of a tall block, or anywhere with a booster pump and overhead tank — runs considerably higher than in a ground-floor house. A tank not rated for that pressure is stressed every single day it runs. Eight bar is a high pressure rating for a domestic storage heater, and it means this unit is built for apartments and strong water flow rather than only low-rise homes. Worth knowing: a horizontal geyser is slightly less thermally efficient than a vertical one of the same size, because hot water stratifies less effectively lying down. You're trading a little efficiency for space you couldn't otherwise use — a good trade when there's no wall, and the wrong one when there is.
