Description
Fifty Litres, Overhead, With ELCB Built In.
Horizontal · Right Side Inlets · 2000 W · 8 Bar.
The largest horizontal geyser in the range, for apartments where a 50-litre vertical simply won't fit · mounts horizontally in a loft, overhead space or above a false ceiling and disappears · right side inlets — check which side your plumbing runs, because it decides whether this model fits your bathroom or the LHS version does · a Blue Diamond® glass-lined titanium steel tank resisting corrosion in hard water · a glass-coated Incoloy heating element resisting scale · triple safety protection — thermal cutoff, ELCB and a multi-function safety valve · advanced PUF insulation minimising standby heat loss · 2000 W heating in roughly 29 minutes · an adjustable thermostat from 25°C to 75°C · rated to 8 bar for high-rise supply · runs on 180–250 V · 4 Star · made in India
Right
sideinlets — check yours first
This is the detail that decides whether the geyser fits, and almost nobody checks it before ordering. A horizontal water heater has its water connections on one end, and this is the RHS — right side inlets — version. If your bathroom's plumbing comes up on the left, this unit will need awkward pipe runs across the loft, or won't fit the space at all, and the LHS variant is the one you want. It takes thirty seconds to establish and saves a return. Send us a photo of the space and where the pipes come through on 9710000251, and we'll confirm which side you need before anything is dispatched.
ELCB built in — the safety feature that isn't standard
A geyser combines mains electricity with a tank of water, which is why an earth leakage circuit breaker matters more here than on almost any other appliance. An ELCB detects current leaking to earth — the fault that causes electric shock — and cuts power in milliseconds, before it can reach a person. Many geysers rely entirely on the building's wiring for this; this one has it built into the unit. Alongside it sit a thermal cutoff against overheating and a multi-function safety valve managing pressure, plus automatic shut-off. On a unit installed above a false ceiling where you can't see it, protection you don't have to think about is exactly what you want.
Blue Diamond® titanium steel, and why it carries seven years
Geysers die from the inside: the tank corrodes, or the element scales up and burns out. The tank here is titanium steel with Blue Diamond® glass lining — a fused coating that keeps hard water off the steel — backed by a long-lasting anode rod that corrodes sacrificially so the tank doesn't. The glass-coated Incoloy element handles the other failure mode, resisting the scale build-up that forces an element to run hotter until it fails. That engineering is what supports 7 years on the tank and 4 on the element — and on a ceiling-mounted unit that's expensive to reach, those are the two components you least want to see fail.
🛡️ Safety and durability
ELCB
Cuts power on earth leakage
Thermal Cutoff
Protects against overheating
Multi-Function Valve
Manages pressure build-up
Anode Rod
Sacrificial tank protection
🎯 Right for
Fifty litres horizontal is a specialist combination — a lot of hot water from a unit that takes no visible space. If you do have wall space, a vertical 50 L is slightly more efficient and easier to service.
✨ Everyday operation
PUF insulation is what keeps a 50-litre tank near temperature between uses, so the element switches on to reheat less often — on a tank this size that's the biggest single running cost.
Tolerates the voltage swings common across Delhi NCR without needing a separate stabiliser for the geyser.
Set lower for children and bathing, higher for kitchen and cleaning — useful when one geyser serves different needs.
The anode rod is a consumable that protects the tank. On a ceiling-mounted unit, leave a service hatch — it's what lets the tank reach its seven years.

Warranty as per AO Smith's terms and conditions — 2 years comprehensive, 7 years on the tank and 4 years on the heating element, subject to T&C; physical damage is not covered. Please refer to the final invoice or warranty card for exact coverage, extended warranty terms, exclusions and service conditions. Anode rod replacement and periodic servicing may be required to maintain tank warranty validity. Heating time is approximate and varies with inlet water temperature, thermostat setting, voltage, water pressure and usage. Corrosion resistance and component life vary with water hardness, plumbing layout, installation quality and maintenance. Installation must be carried out by a qualified technician with proper earthing, MCB and a correctly fitted pressure release valve; the loft or ceiling structure must support the full weight of a filled tank and allow service access. Do not operate without water in the tank. Image for reference only; actual serial number, manufacturing date, mounting kit, accessories and finish may vary by batch.
