Left Side Inlets. Check Yours Before Ordering.
50 L Horizontal · 2000 W · ELCB · 8 Bar.
The left-hand version of AO Smith's 50-litre horizontal geyser, for apartments where a vertical tank won't fit · mounts horizontally in a loft, overhead space or above a false ceiling and disappears from view · left side inlets (LHS) — this is the half of the decision people skip, and it determines whether the unit fits your bathroom or the RHS version does · a Blue Diamond® glass-lined titanium steel tank resisting corrosion in hard or salty water · a glass-coated Incoloy heating element resisting scale · a long-lasting anode rod with 2× the life of a magnesium rod · thermal cut-off, ELCB and a multi-function safety valve · advanced PUF insulation · 2000 W heating in about 29 minutes · 25°C to 75°C adjustable thermostat · 180–250 V · 3 Star · made in India
Left
sidethe check that prevents a return
A horizontal water heater has its water connections on one end, and getting the side wrong is the single most common reason one has to go back. This is the LHS — left side inlets — version. If your bathroom's plumbing comes up on the right, this unit will need awkward pipe runs across the loft, or won't fit the space at all, and the RHS variant is the one you want — we stock both. It takes thirty seconds to establish and saves a great deal of trouble. Send us a photo of the space and where the pipes come through on 9710000251, and we'll confirm which side you need before anything leaves the warehouse.
ELCB built in — the safety feature that isn't standard
A geyser combines mains electricity with a tank of water, which is why an earth leakage circuit breaker matters more here than on almost any other appliance. An ELCB detects current leaking to earth — the fault that causes electric shock — and cuts power in milliseconds, before it can reach a person. Many geysers rely entirely on the building's wiring for this; this one has it built into the unit. Alongside sit a thermal cut-off against overheating and a multi-function safety valve managing pressure. On a heater sealed above a false ceiling where you can't see or inspect it, protection you don't have to think about is exactly the point.
Blue Diamond® titanium steel, and why it carries seven years
Geysers die from the inside: the tank corrodes, or the element scales up and burns out. The tank here is titanium steel with Blue Diamond® glass lining — a fused coating keeping hard water off the steel — backed by a long-lasting anode rod rated for twice the life of a conventional magnesium rod, which corrodes sacrificially so the tank doesn't. The glass-coated Incoloy element handles the other failure mode, resisting the scale build-up that forces an element to run hotter until it fails. That engineering is what supports 7 years on the tank — and on a ceiling-mounted unit that's expensive to reach, it's the component you least want to see fail.

🎯 Right for
Fifty litres horizontal is a specialist combination — plenty of hot water from a unit that takes no visible space. If you do have wall space, a vertical 50 L is slightly more efficient and easier to service.
✨ Everyday operation
The 180–250 V range tolerates the voltage swings common across Delhi NCR without needing a separate stabiliser for the geyser.
Keeps a 50-litre tank near temperature between uses, so the element switches on to reheat less often — the biggest running cost on a tank this size.
Set lower for children and bathing, higher for kitchen and cleaning — useful when one geyser serves different needs.
The anode rod is a consumable that protects the tank. On a ceiling-mounted unit, leave a service hatch — it's what lets the tank reach its seven years.

Warranty as per AO Smith's terms and conditions; tank, heating element, anode rod, thermostat, ELCB, safety valve, accessories, installation, labour, extended cover and exclusions are subject to AO Smith brand policy — please refer to the final invoice or warranty card for exact coverage and service process. Anode rod replacement and periodic servicing may be required to maintain tank warranty validity. Heating time is approximate and varies with inlet water temperature, thermostat setting, voltage, water pressure and usage. Corrosion resistance and component life vary with water hardness and TDS, plumbing layout, installation quality and maintenance. Horizontal installation requires suitable structural strength, correct mounting and inlet/outlet orientation, plumbing clearance, proper earthing and professional installation; the loft or ceiling structure must support the full weight of a filled tank and allow service access. Pipes, pressure reducing valve, additional safety fittings, civil work, drilling, electrical wiring, MCB, removal of an existing geyser and non-standard installation work may be chargeable unless stated on the final invoice. Do not operate without water in the tank. Image for reference only; actual serial number, manufacturing date, BEE label, mounting kit, accessories and finish may vary by batch.
