ROno bypass of impurities
This is worth understanding, because it separates purifiers that look identical on a shelf. Many RO systems blend a portion of unpurified water back in after the membrane — it improves taste and saves the membrane some work, but it means some of what you drink never went through RO at all. In the Z2 Pro, 100% of the water passes through the RO membrane, with no bypass of impurities. The minerals are then added back deliberately through the Copper Fortified Mineralizer and MIN-TECH, rather than by letting raw water through. On borewell or tanker supply, that distinction matters — you're not relying on dilution to get the taste right.
Advance Alert — it warns you before, not after
The most common failure with any RO purifier isn't the machine — it's a filter left in six months too long. Performance degrades quietly, and most people only find out when the water starts tasting wrong or the flow drops to a trickle. Advance Alert Technology indicates in advance when the RO membrane and other filters need replacement, shown on the digital indicators, so servicing is planned rather than reactive. Plain RO strips the useful minerals along with the harmful ones, which is why cheap RO water tastes flat. The Copper Fortified Mineralizer adds copper ions, and MIN-TECH restores essential minerals and balances pH — deliberately, after purification. Behind that, SSM Side Stream RO Membrane technology is engineered for both low and high TDS up to 2000 ppm, and is designed to waste less water and improve pure water recovery than a conventional arrangement.
