Description
Check your water supply before ordering any RO purifier
Every RO purifier has a maximum input TDS it is rated for and a minimum supply pressure it needs. Neither figure is stated in the supplied material for this model, and both determine whether it will work properly in your home. If your supply is borewell or tanker water, high in TDS, or comes off a tank with weak pressure, tell us before ordering rather than after installation. Call 9710000251 and we will get the full specification from Eureka Forbes and tell you honestly whether this is the right model for your water.
It Shows You the Numbers.
Water In, Water Out, in Real Time.
A purifier that lets you see it working rather than asking you to take it on trust · real-time input and output TDS meters on the front, so the difference the machine is actually making is a number you can read · 9-stage RO + UV purification · Active Copper · a Taste Adjuster (MTDS controller) so purified water does not taste flat · water-saving RO technology, which matters because conventional RO sends a great deal of water down the drain · a toughened glass body rather than the usual plastic box · 3.6 litres of storage · wall mounted at 21 × 36 × 52 cm · made in India
TDS
in & outthe machine shows its working
Almost every water purifier asks you to take its performance entirely on faith. Water goes in, water comes out, and unless you buy a TDS meter yourself you have no idea whether the machine is doing anything at all. That matters more than it sounds, because the commonest failure mode of an RO purifier is silent: when the membrane or filters are exhausted, water keeps flowing and keeps tasting normal while purification quietly degrades. The Slim Glass puts two meters on the front — one reading the TDS of the water going in, one reading the water coming out. You can see the difference the machine is making at any moment. Two practical uses. You learn what your own supply is actually like, which changes week to week on tanker water. And when the gap between the two numbers starts narrowing, that is your membrane telling you it is nearing the end — long before anything tastes wrong.
Water-saving RO — the drain pipe nobody talks about
Reverse osmosis has a cost that rarely appears in the sales conversation: it wastes water. The membrane works by letting purified water through while everything it rejects is flushed away, and in a conventional RO purifier a substantial share of the water entering the machine goes straight down the drain. Over a year, in a household that gets through several litres of drinking water daily, that adds up to a great deal of water — which is not a small thing in Delhi, where supply is limited and often tanker-dependent. This model uses water-saving RO technology, which Aquaguard states saves up to 40 litres a day compared with conventional RO systems. Treat that as a maximum measured under their test conditions rather than a daily guarantee — the actual saving depends on your input water and how much you draw. But the direction is real, and if you already run a purifier you will know how much reject water it produces.
A glass body — and what that means in practice
Water purifiers are almost universally large plastic boxes, usually white, and they tend to be the least attractive object in an otherwise considered kitchen. The Slim Glass uses a toughened glass front instead, which is why it looks like a piece of equipment rather than an appliance bolted to the wall. Beyond appearance, glass wipes clean without scratching and does not yellow with age or absorb kitchen odours the way plastic can over several years. Two practical notes. At 9.8 kg empty this is heavier than a comparable plastic purifier, so the wall and fixings need to be genuinely sound — and heavier again once the tank is full. And toughened glass is strong but not indestructible; it should be mounted where it will not be knocked, and physical damage is generally excluded from warranty cover.
🎯 Suited to
3.6 litres is a modest tank, which suits a small to medium household drawing through the day rather than a large family filling several bottles at once. The 21 cm depth is genuinely slim — useful where a bulkier purifier would project awkwardly over a counter.
RO strips minerals indiscriminately, which is why purified water can taste flat. The adjuster sets the output mineral level, and matters most where input water changes.
Copper infusion into the purified water. We make no health claims for it — and like every stage, the copper cartridge is a consumable with a finite life.
Alerts for filter and service status. Worth acting on: exhausted consumables keep dispensing normal-looking water while no longer purifying properly.
Slim front-to-back for a 9-stage RO unit, so it sits closer to the wall than most purifiers of comparable capability.

Warranty as per Eureka Forbes / Aquaguard terms and conditions — 1 year as stated in supplier material. The scope of cover, parts and labour, exclusions, product registration, installation requirements and the service process are subject to brand policy and the final invoice or warranty card. Physical damage, including damage to the glass body, is generally excluded. Filters, RO membrane, UV lamp, copper cartridge and other consumable and wear items are typically excluded from warranty cover and are chargeable; their replacement together with annual maintenance is a recurring cost the owner should budget for. Warranty cover is generally conditional on installation by an authorised technician and on the appliance being operated within its stated input water conditions; damage arising from unsuitable input water, supply pressure outside the rated range, incorrect installation or unauthorised servicing is commonly excluded. Purification stages, capacity, dimensions and weight are manufacturer specifications. The stated water saving of up to 40 litres per day is a manufacturer claim measured against conventional reverse osmosis systems under their own test conditions; actual saving depends on input water quality, TDS, draw volume and operating conditions, and reverse osmosis produces reject water in normal operation regardless. The reject line must be routed to a drain at installation. Maximum input TDS, flow rate, operating pressure, input water temperature range, storage tank material, filter life, power consumption and box contents are not stated in supplier material and should be confirmed before purchase; maximum input TDS and operating pressure in particular determine whether this model is suitable for a given water supply. TDS meters indicate total dissolved solids only and are not a complete measure of water safety; a low TDS reading does not by itself indicate the absence of biological or other contamination. Explanations of TDS measurement, reverse osmosis water usage, mineral adjustment and body materials provided here are general information to aid understanding and are not manufacturer specifications. Purification performance depends on input water quality, supply pressure and temperature, filter and membrane condition and adherence to the maintenance schedule; the appliance is not a substitute for a safe water source. This product is a water treatment appliance and not a medical device or a nutritional supplement. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or condition, and no health or nutritional outcome is claimed or implied in relation to copper content, mineral content or purified water generally. Water quality should be independently verified where there is any doubt about the supply. This appliance must be installed by an authorised technician and connected to a properly earthed mains socket; it must not be operated with wet hands or where the plug or socket may be splashed. It must be wall-mounted on a structurally sound wall with fixings rated for the filled weight, and positioned where the glass body is not liable to impact. Filters, the membrane, the ultraviolet lamp and the copper cartridge must be replaced at the intervals specified by the manufacturer, as exhausted consumables will continue to allow water to be dispensed without providing the stated level of purification. The housing must not be opened and the ultraviolet lamp must not be serviced by the user; ultraviolet light is harmful to eyes and skin and the appliance must be unplugged before any service. The appliance must not be run without an input water supply. Operation should be discontinued and service arranged if leakage, cracking or chipping of the glass, unusual taste or odour, electrical tripping or abnormal operation occurs.
