Description
Rated to 2000 ppm.
Which Is Why Tanker Water Is In Range.
The entry point into Aquaguard's RO range, specified around water that is not simply municipal · rated for input TDS up to 2000 ppm, so borewell, tanker and mixed supply sit inside its working range · RO + UV E-Boiling, handling dissolved and biological contamination through separate mechanisms · cartridge life up to 6000 litres or one year · a smart LED panel showing tank full, service due, filter life, errors and system status · wall-mount or countertop · NABL and WQIA certified · and a free service plan stated as worth ₹2,000 covering installation, a maintenance visit and unlimited repairs for a year

service
planwhat it actually covers
The service plan is the strongest part of this package and worth reading closely, because purifier ownership costs are mostly service costs. It covers three things. Free installation, which on an RO purifier is a real job — connecting to the supply, routing the reject line to a drain, and checking pressure. One free maintenance visit, where a technician inspects the filters and checks the machine is performing. And unlimited repair visits within the first year, which means a fault does not come with a call-out charge attached. Two honest notes. Repairs are not the same as consumables — filters, membrane and lamp are wear items and are chargeable when they are due. And service coverage depends on your address being in the network, so it is worth confirming for your pin code before you order rather than after.
2000 ppm — the specification that decides whether it suits your home
Every RO purifier carries a maximum input TDS rating, and it is the number that determines whether a machine will work properly in your kitchen or struggle and fail early. TDS is total dissolved solids: everything dissolved in the water, measured in parts per million. Across Delhi NCR it varies enormously — municipal supply, borewell and tanker water can be quite different, and tanker water in particular changes from delivery to delivery. Plenty of purifiers are rated to around 1000 or 1500 ppm, which is adequate on treated municipal supply and not adequate on hard groundwater. The Sure Champ is rated to 2000 ppm, which puts borewell and tanker water inside its range rather than at its limit. Two things follow: it is worth knowing your own TDS before choosing any purifier, and 2000 ppm is a maximum rather than a promise — filter and membrane life shorten as input TDS rises toward it.
Why both RO and UV — they do not overlap
These are listed together so often that people assume they are two names for the same thing. They are not, and neither substitutes for the other. Reverse osmosis forces water through a membrane whose pores are small enough to reject dissolved substances — salts, heavy metals and dissolved chemical contamination. It is the only domestic technology that meaningfully reduces TDS, which is why a UV-only purifier is unsuitable for borewell water however good it is. Ultraviolet does nothing to dissolved chemicals at all. What it does is pass water under a UV-C lamp whose light damages the DNA of bacteria and viruses so they cannot reproduce. Aquaguard describes this stage as UV E-Boiling, their term for the level of disinfection it delivers. Having both means dissolved contamination and biological contamination are each handled by the mechanism suited to it.
💡 What the LED panel tells you
The filter life warning is the one that matters most. An exhausted cartridge or a failed UV lamp keeps dispensing water that looks and tastes entirely normal while no longer purifying it properly — a failure you cannot detect yourself, which is why the alert exists and why it should be acted on rather than ignored.
🎯 Suited to
This is the straightforward RO+UV choice — no copper stage, no glass body, no taste adjuster, just the core purification plus a strong first-year service package. Installation flexibility helps in rented homes, where the countertop option avoids drilling.
Cartridge life as rated. Real life falls as input TDS and sediment load rise, so treat it as an upper figure rather than a fixed schedule.
Independent testing and industry certification. Worth asking exactly what was certified and against which standard when comparing purifiers.
The same unit fits either way, so placement can follow the kitchen rather than the other way round.
A plain, durable plastic housing — practical rather than decorative, and easy to wipe down in a working kitchen.

Warranty as per Eureka Forbes / Aquaguard terms and conditions. No product warranty duration is stated in supplier material for this model; the free service plan described is not a product warranty, and the warranty term, scope of cover, parts and labour, exclusions, product registration and service process must be confirmed in writing before purchase. The free service plan, stated in supplier material as worth ₹2,000 and comprising installation, one maintenance visit and unlimited repair visits within one year, is subject to brand policy, location serviceability, site readiness and the final invoice documentation; coverage for a particular pin code should be confirmed before ordering. Repair visits are distinct from consumable replacement: cartridges, RO membrane, UV lamp and other wear items are chargeable when due and are the principal running cost of the appliance; replacement cartridge cost is not stated in supplier material and should be confirmed. Warranty and service cover are generally conditional on installation by an authorised technician and on the appliance being operated within its stated input water conditions; damage arising from unsuitable input water, supply pressure outside the rated range, incorrect installation or unauthorised servicing is commonly excluded. Maximum input TDS, cartridge life, certifications and stated features are manufacturer specifications. The stated maximum input TDS of 2000 ppm and cartridge life of up to 6000 litres or one year are limits measured under the manufacturer's own conditions rather than typical operating figures; actual cartridge and membrane life shorten as input TDS, turbidity and sediment load rise, and suitability for any particular supply should be confirmed by testing that supply. Storage capacity, flow rate, operating pressure, input water temperature range, water recovery rate, dimensions, weight, power consumption, box contents and country of origin are not stated in supplier material and should be confirmed before purchase. NABL and WQIA certifications are as claimed by the manufacturer; the specific scope of any certification and the standard tested against should be confirmed with the brand. Reverse osmosis produces reject water as part of normal operation and the reject line must be routed to a drain at installation; the recovery rate determines how much water is discharged per litre purified. Explanations of total dissolved solids, reverse osmosis and ultraviolet disinfection provided here are general information to aid understanding and are not manufacturer specifications. Purification performance depends on input water quality, supply pressure and temperature, cartridge and membrane condition and adherence to the maintenance schedule; the appliance is designed to reduce specified contaminants under suitable conditions and is not a substitute for testing an unsafe or unknown water source. This product is a water treatment appliance and not a medical device. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or condition, and no health outcome is claimed or implied. Water quality should be independently verified where there is any doubt about the supply. This appliance must be installed by an authorised technician and connected to a properly earthed mains socket; it must not be operated with wet hands or where the plug or socket may be splashed. Cartridges, the membrane and the ultraviolet lamp must be replaced at the intervals specified by the manufacturer, as exhausted consumables will continue to allow water to be dispensed without providing the stated level of purification. The housing must not be opened and the ultraviolet lamp must not be serviced by the user; ultraviolet light is harmful to eyes and skin and the appliance must be unplugged before any service. The appliance must not be run without an input water supply. Wall mounting requires fixings rated for the filled weight; countertop placement requires a level, stable surface clear of edges. Operation should be discontinued and service arranged if leakage, unusual taste or odour, electrical tripping or abnormal operation occurs.
