Description
Finally, a Mixer That Doesn't Turn Chutney Into Soup.
Coarse Mode · BLDC 550 W · 4 Jars · Ventless.
Atomberg's BLDC mixer grinder, and the only one that makes a chutney the way a sil-batta does · a dedicated Coarse Mode producing granular, stone-ground texture instead of reducing everything to smooth paste · an Intelligent BLDC motor delivering strong grinding torque at 550 W, with no carbon brushes to wear out — the part that fails first on an ordinary mixer · Anti-Gravity Lid Locks that hold the lid without you standing there pressing it, so you can walk away mid-grind · a ventless sealed body — no slots for flour, dust, moisture or insects to get into the motor housing · 4 jars including a chopper — 1.5 L liquidising, 1 L multipurpose, 0.5 L chutney, 0.5 L chopper · 4-speed knob control · Jar Lock Detection, Fault LED and No Auto Restart · 6 kg · Red Wine
Coarse
Modethe reason to keep the sil-batta in the cupboard
Every mixer grinder does one thing: it spins fast and turns whatever you put in it into paste. Which is fine for batter and smooth chutney — but it's why so many households still keep a sil-batta, because a coarse pudina chutney, a chunky onion chutney or a hand-ground garam masala simply cannot be made in a normal mixer. Run it long enough to break everything down and you've gone past coarse to smooth; stop early and half of it is untouched. Coarse Mode pulses the motor to crush rather than shear, holding that granular texture instead of blowing past it. If someone in your house still reaches for the stone, this is the feature that replaces it.
BLDC — no brushes, which is where ordinary mixers die
A standard mixer uses a brushed motor, and its carbon brushes are consumable — they physically wear down every time the motor runs. That's why an old mixer smells of burning, loses power, and eventually stops: the brushes are gone. A BLDC motor has no brushes at all, so that entire wear mechanism doesn't exist. It also runs cooler and more efficiently, which is what allows the sealed ventless body — and it draws 550 W where conventional mixers of comparable grinding ability typically draw considerably more. For a machine used two or three times a day, every day, for a decade, the absence of a wearing part is the more meaningful claim of the two.
Three safety features — and one that matters specifically in Delhi
Jar Lock Detection stops the motor starting unless the jar is properly seated, which prevents the blade spinning in an unsecured jar. The Fault LED shows you immediately when something is wrong — a jam, an overload — rather than leaving you to work out why it stopped. But No Auto Restart is the one worth understanding: with an ordinary mixer, if the power cuts mid-grind and comes back while you've stepped away, the machine starts itself again — with a full jar, possibly with children in the kitchen. This one requires you to switch it on deliberately after any power interruption. In a city with regular cuts, that's a genuine safeguard rather than a spec-sheet line.
🥣 Four jars for four jobs
1.5 L Liquidising
Juices, shakes, batters
1 L Multipurpose
Wet masala, dry spices
0.5 L Chutney
Ginger-garlic, coconut
0.5 L Chopper
Onion without tears
The chopper jar is the one people don't expect to use daily and then do. Onions, tomatoes and vegetables chopped rather than pulped — it saves the knife work at the start of nearly every Indian meal.
🎯 Right for
The Red Wine finish is an unusual choice in a category of white and grey — it suits a kitchen with dark or warm-toned cabinetry rather than disappearing into it.
✨ Controls and build
A knob rather than a touch panel is the right choice in a kitchen — it works with wet or floury hands, which touch controls often don't.
Ordinary mixers have ventilation slots that let in atta, dust, moisture and insects over years. A sealed ventless body has no entry points — and wipes clean properly.
Anti-Gravity lid locks hold the seal without you pressing down, so you can start the mixer and get on with the rest of the cooking.
BLDC motors generally run less harshly than brushed ones — welcome on an appliance used several times a day in a small kitchen.

Warranty as per Atomberg's terms and conditions; duration, motor, jar, parts and labour coverage, exclusions and service process are subject to brand policy — please confirm on the final invoice or warranty card. Grinding performance, texture, Coarse Mode results, cycle time, noise and energy consumption vary with ingredient type, hardness, moisture, quantity, jar used, selected speed and technique. Comparisons with conventional brushed-motor mixers are general to the technology and not a test result for any specific competing model. Grind in short bursts with pauses rather than continuously, especially for dry and hard ingredients; do not exceed the marked maximum fill level, and allow extra headroom for hot liquids. Allow blades to stop completely before opening a jar; keep hands and utensils clear of running blades.
