Bottom Load · Hot · Cold · Room Temp.

The dispenser that removes the one job everybody dreads · bottom loading — the 20-litre can slides into a cabinet at waist height instead of being hoisted overhead and inverted · three faucets for hot, cold and room temperature, so tea, cold water and everyday drinking all come from one machine · compressor cooling holding below 8°C — real refrigeration, not a thermoelectric plate that gives up in a Delhi May · a stainless steel cold tank rather than plastic, so no rust and no absorbed odour over the years · a child safety lock on the hot faucet · a 2.5-litre cold tank · a compact 36 × 31 cm footprint standing 104 cm · ABS body in black · 17 kg · 230 V · made in India

This is the whole point of the machine, and anyone who has changed a water can knows it immediately. A standard top-load dispenser needs a full 20-litre can — about 20 kg — lifted to shoulder height and turned upside down onto the neck. It's awkward, it spills, and for elderly parents or anyone with a bad back or shoulder it's simply not something they can do safely. So the dispenser sits empty until someone able-bodied is around. On this one the can slides into a cabinet at waist height through the front door — you connect the tube, close the door, and an internal pump lifts the water. No overhead lift, no inversion, no spill. In a home with older parents or an office without a peon on hand, that turns a two-person job into a thirty-second one.

Compressor cooling — the specification to check before you compare prices

Water dispensers cool in one of two ways, and the cheaper method disappoints exactly when you need it. Budget dispensers use thermoelectric cooling — a solid-state plate that cools relative to the room around it. In a 45°C Delhi May, "cooler than the room" is still not cold water. This machine uses a compressor — the same refrigeration principle as your fridge — and holds below 8°C regardless of how hot the room gets. That's the difference between properly cold water in peak summer and lukewarm water from an expensive appliance. When comparing two dispensers at different prices, this is usually where the gap is, and it's worth asking the question about any unit you're weighing against this one.

🔩

A steel tank, not plastic — this is the part water sits in all day

Most dispensers at this price use a food-grade plastic cold tank, and it's the component that ages worst. Plastic develops fine surface scratches with cleaning and temperature cycling, and those scratches are where residue and odour take hold — which is why an older dispenser starts giving water with a faint stale taste that no amount of rinsing fixes. Stainless steel doesn't scratch the same way, doesn't hold odour, and doesn't rust. For a machine that is the household's main drinking water source, year after year, that's the difference between a dispenser you still trust in year four and one you quietly stop using. It also cleans properly — a steel tank can be wiped out and rinsed without degrading.

⚙️ Build

🔩 Stainless Steel Cold Tank 🏗️ ABS Body — Black 🔒 Child Lock 📐 104 cm Tall 🇮🇳 Made in India

At 36 × 31 cm the footprint is genuinely small — it fits a kitchen corner, a pantry counter end or a reception nook without claiming real floor space.

🔒 Child Lock on the Hot Tap

Hot water from any dispenser is hot enough to scald. The lock means a child pressing the lever gets nothing — worth having wherever children can reach.

🚫 Enclosed Can Cabinet

The can sits inside a closed cabinet rather than upturned in the open at the top, which keeps dust off the bottle neck between changes.

🖤 Black ABS Body

Impact-resistant and easy to wipe down — and black doesn't show the yellowing that white plastic picks up over years.

⚠️ Hot water safety — please read before first use. The hot faucet delivers water hot enough to scald skin immediately. Keep the child safety lock engaged at all times when children are in the house, and show every adult in the household how it works. Do not use hot water directly for an infant's feed without checking the temperature — always test it as you would any hot water. Switch the heating off at the rear switch if the hot function is not needed, which is the safest setting in a home with small children. Place the dispenser on a level, stable floor away from the edge of a counter, connect to a properly rated earthed socket, and switch off at the socket before changing the can or cleaning.
Five things worth knowing. Let it stand upright for a few hours after delivery before switching on — the compressor oil needs to settle after transport. Leave a gap behind it; like any compressor appliance it sheds heat from the back and shouldn't be boxed in. Clean the drip tray weekly and the tank periodically — the steel tank makes this straightforward, and it's what keeps the water tasting right. Use sealed cans from a known supplier; a dispenser is only as clean as what you put in it. And switch off the hot function when you're away for a few days rather than leaving it heating an unused tank. Call 9710000251.
Bottom line: Buy this if lifting the can is the problem. A 20-litre can weighs about 20 kg and has to go overhead on a normal dispenser — for elderly parents, or an office without someone on hand, that means the machine sits empty. Here it slides into a cabinet at waist height. Two other things worth the money: compressor cooling that actually holds below 8°C through a Delhi summer, where cheaper thermoelectric units give up, and a stainless steel tank instead of plastic, which is what stops the stale taste older dispensers develop. Child lock on the hot tap. Call 9710000251.

Warranty as per Blue Star's terms and conditions; the duration, scope of cover, exclusions and the service process are subject to brand policy and the final invoice or warranty card — please confirm current warranty terms with our team before purchase. Water cans, bottles and their contents are not supplied with the dispenser. Cooling and heating performance, cold water temperature, recovery time and power consumption vary with ambient temperature, ventilation clearance, frequency of use, volume drawn, incoming water temperature, thermostat setting, voltage and maintenance. The below-8°C figure refers to the manufacturer's stated performance under its test conditions and is not a guarantee of a specific temperature in all conditions. This dispenser cools, heats and dispenses water; it does not purify, filter or treat water, and makes no claim regarding water quality, purity or safety — use water from a source you have independently satisfied yourself is safe to drink. Hot water is dispensed at a temperature capable of causing scalding: keep the child safety lock engaged, supervise children at all times, and never assume dispensed water is at a safe temperature for an infant without checking. Install on a level, stable floor away from heat sources, and connect to a properly rated earthed supply. Switch off at the socket before changing the can or cleaning. Clean and sanitise the tank and drip tray periodically as described in the user manual.
