Still Cooling When It's 52° Outside.
1.5 Ton · 5350 W · 500 CFM · Blue Fins.
Blue Star's 1.5-ton fixed speed split, built for the worst week of a Delhi May · rated to keep cooling at ambient temperatures up to 52°C — the specification that actually matters here, because a machine that gives up at 47° is useless on the days you need it most · 5350 W / 17,487 BTU of cooling with 500 CFM airflow to move it around a medium room · Turbo Cool for the pull-down when you walk in · a 100% copper condenser · anti-corrosive Blue Fins on both condenser and evaporator coils · 1.9 litres an hour of moisture removal · Comfort Sleep and Energy Saver modes · intelligent self diagnosis · a hidden LED display · an LCD remote with night-glow buttons · quiet at 41 dB · ISEER 3.81 · 230 V · made in India
52°C
ambientthe number that matters in May
This is the specification worth checking on any AC sold in Delhi, and almost nobody does. Every air conditioner has an outdoor temperature above which it stops cooling properly — the compressor struggles to reject heat into air that's already scorching, and cooling output falls away. A machine rated to 45° or 47° will disappoint you on exactly the afternoons you bought it for, when the balcony is at 48° and the outdoor unit is sitting in it. This one is designed to keep cooling at ambient temperatures up to 52°C. For a top-floor flat, a west-facing room, or an outdoor unit that takes afternoon sun, that headroom is the difference between comfort and a service complaint.
Copper and Blue Fins — what survives eight Delhi summers
The outdoor unit lives on a balcony taking rain, dust and polluted air for its whole life, and two things decide how long it lasts. First, the 100% copper condenser: copper transfers heat better than aluminium, corrodes far more slowly, and — the part that matters when something goes wrong — a copper leak can be brazed on site, while an aluminium coil usually means replacing the whole thing. Second, the anti-corrosive Blue Fin coating, applied here to both the condenser and the evaporator coils, shielding them against humidity, monsoon rain and the acidic pollution in Delhi air. Corroded fins are the quiet reason an old AC stops cooling well — this is the protection against that.
1.9 litres an hour — the number that explains monsoon comfort
Cooling is only half of what an AC does; the other half is pulling water out of the air, and it's why July feels worse than May at the same temperature. This unit removes 1.9 litres of moisture per hour. That's what makes a humid room feel dry and comfortable at 26°C rather than clammy at 22°C — and it's why setting the thermostat lower is usually the wrong fix for a sticky room. Two practical consequences: in the monsoon, run the AC a little longer at a moderate temperature rather than briefly at a very low one, and make sure your drain pipe has a proper downward slope — nearly two litres an hour has to go somewhere, and a bad drain is the commonest cause of water dripping indoors.
✨ Comfort and control
The night-glow remote sounds trivial until you're changing the temperature at 3 am — and the hidden display means no LED glowing at you while you sleep.
🎯 Right for
If the AC will run most of the day, an inverter model earns its premium — fixed speed suits rooms used for a few hours at a time. Ask us and we'll be straight about which fits your usage.
⚙️ Build
500 CFM matters in a wide room — cooling capacity gets the air cold, but airflow is what carries it to the far corner instead of leaving one end chilly and the other warm.
Drives the machine hard for the initial pull-down — the setting for walking into a hot room at 4 pm, not for running all evening.
Shows an error code when something's wrong, so the technician arrives knowing where to look instead of diagnosing from scratch.
Low enough for a bedroom, with Comfort Sleep easing the temperature through the night as the room and your body cool.
More ACs underperform from bad installation than bad manufacturing. Insist on correct gas pressure, drainage slope and pipe run.
