Description
The Small One That Still Does Everything.
108 L Usable · Convertible · Runs From 160 V.
Blue Star's compact hard top freezer, for when 484 litres is more than you need · 130 L gross, 108 L net storage — the honest usable figure, stated up front · convertible between freezer and cooler, so the same cabinet takes ice cream in summer and drinks or dairy in winter · Quadracool — the evaporator runs across all four internal walls rather than just the base, so the middle of a full load stays as cold as the edges · Lockring evaporator joints, engineered against the slow refrigerant leak that quietly kills freezers · R290 natural refrigerant with a global warming potential of just 3 · a heavy-duty compressor rated for high ambient — it keeps working in a hot back kitchen · runs from 160 V · corrosion-resistant body · 57 × 57.5 × 82.9 cm, only 28 kg · made in India
Cooled on
four sidesnot just the bottom
This is the difference between a cheap chest freezer and a properly engineered one, and it shows in a full cabinet. On an ordinary freezer the evaporator sits mainly at the base and lower sides. Fill it up and the items in the middle and at the top sit warmer than the ones touching the walls — which is why ice cream near the top goes soft and refreezes grainy, and why frozen stock at the centre of a stack thaws slightly every time the lid opens. Quadracool runs the evaporator across all four internal walls, so cooling reaches the load from every direction. In a 108-litre cabinet packed for a weekend, that's the difference between stock that holds and stock that suffers.
Lockring joints — built against the failure you never see coming
The most common way a deep freezer dies is not dramatic. It's a slow refrigerant leak. The joints in the evaporator circuit expand and contract every single day as the unit cools and cycles, and over years microscopic gaps open at those connections. Gas escapes gradually. There's no bang, no error, nothing to see — just a freezer that "isn't as cold as it used to be", until one summer it can't hold temperature at all and your stock is at risk. Blue Star's Lockring system is a mechanical locking design at those joints, built to hold a seal through exactly that daily expansion cycle. It's an invisible feature and it's the reason one freezer is still working at year eight.
130 litres or 108? We've put both on the page — here's why
Chest freezers are almost always sold on gross capacity, and that number is measured to the brim of an empty cabinet. Once you account for the load line, the space air needs to circulate, and the basket, the space you can actually fill is lower. This unit is 130 L gross and 108 L net — and 108 is the number to plan against. We list it because a customer who buys on 130 and gets 108 feels short-changed, and rightly so. 108 litres is roughly two to three days of frozen stock for a small parlour or café, or a serious bulk-buying household. Tell us what you're storing and we'll say honestly whether this or the larger cabinet fits.

⚙️ Built for hard conditions
The 160 V minimum is worth noting — in a colony where the supply sags on summer evenings, an ordinary freezer struggles or cuts out just when it's hottest. This one keeps running.
At 28 kg it can be repositioned without equipment — useful for cleaning, layout changes or seasonal rearranging in a small shop.
A natural refrigerant with a fraction of the environmental impact of older refrigerants like R134a, and efficient at freezer pressures.
Anti-corrosive coating for spaces with moisture, cleaning chemicals and humidity — a back kitchen is a harsh place for a painted cabinet.
One of India's most established refrigeration brands, with wide service coverage and our team coordinating any visit.

Warranty as per Blue Star's terms and conditions; coverage, duration, exclusions, installation requirements and the service process are subject to brand policy and the final invoice or warranty card — please confirm current terms with our team before purchase. Cooling performance, pull-down time, holding temperature, energy consumption and usable capacity vary with ambient temperature, ventilation clearance, load quantity and type, lid opening frequency, thermostat setting, defrost frequency, voltage and installation conditions. Stated 130 litres is gross cabinet volume; 108 litres is the net storage figure. Convertible operation between cooler and freezer modes is as provided by the brand; switching modes changes the temperature range and is not instantaneous. Energy star ratings are as certified at the time of manufacture and are subject to periodic revision. R290 is a hydrocarbon refrigerant and is flammable: install in a well-ventilated area, do not damage the refrigerant circuit, do not use electrical or mechanical means to accelerate defrosting inside the compartment, and have servicing carried out only by technicians qualified to handle hydrocarbon refrigerants. Allow the unit to stand upright for several hours after transport before first switching on. Install on a level floor with ventilation clearance, away from direct sunlight and heat, and connect to a properly rated earthed supply; extension boards are unsuitable. Follow the manufacturer's guidance on food storage temperatures and periodic defrosting.
