This is the practical reason to choose this machine over a cassette or a ducted system, and it's worth knowing before you compare quotes. Cooling a large hall or shop floor usually means a cassette AC — which needs a false ceiling and, very often, a 400 V three-phase supply your premises may not have. Getting three-phase installed takes time and money. This is a wall-mounted split at 3 tons that runs on ordinary single-phase power, mounts on a wall like any other AC, and needs no ceiling work at all. For a shop, a clinic, a hall or a large drawing room, that means commercial-scale cooling with a domestic-scale installation. No civil work, no ceiling opening, no discom application.
5-in-1 convertible — on a 3-ton machine this is where the money is
On a small AC, convertible mode is a nice extra. On a 3-ton, it's the single biggest lever on your running cost. A 3-ton unit at full output is a lot of electricity — and most of the time you don't need it. A showroom at 11 am with two customers in it, an office at 6 pm as people leave, a hall between functions: all of these are running full tonnage for no reason. Convertible mode lets you step the machine down deliberately and bring it back to full when the room fills or the afternoon peaks. Ask us for a demo on the remote at handover, and show whoever operates the AC daily — on a commercial installation, that two-minute briefing is worth more than any feature on the spec sheet.
155–280 V — the specification that keeps a shop cool at 9 pm
Most air conditioners claim stabiliser-free operation across a narrow band. This one is rated to keep running down to 155 volts. That matters for a specific Delhi reason: on the worst evenings of summer, when every AC in the market or the colony is running at once, supply voltage sags. A machine with a narrow band simply cuts out — at exactly the hour a shop is busiest. A wide band means it keeps cooling through the dip instead of tripping and restarting, which is also easier on the compressor. It is not unlimited protection — supply outside this range, or a poor earth, still calls for external protection — but on a ₹79,692 machine, this is real resilience rather than a marketing line.

⚙️ Build
Copper is what you want in Delhi air: better heat transfer, far slower corrosion than aluminium, and a copper leak can be brazed on site — an aluminium coil usually means replacing the whole thing.
Full-tilt pull-down for opening a shut shop or hall at noon. Use it to get the space down, then drop back — it's not an all-day setting.
Dries the indoor coil after cooling stops. On a machine condensing 4.5 L/hr for long hours, that's what prevents the musty smell on switch-on.
Serious dehumidification. A dry room at 26°C beats a clammy one at 22°C — and it means drainage must be planned, not improvised.
A 1259 mm indoor unit and a heavy outdoor unit need real wall space and proper mounting. Check both before ordering.
