Here is the problem this technology exists to solve, and it's one every shopkeeper has seen. In an ordinary visi cooler, cold air is produced at one point and falls — so the top of the cabinet runs colder than the bottom. The practical result: the bottles a customer takes from the bottom shelf are noticeably less cold than the ones from the top, and if you're storing dairy or anything with a temperature requirement, the bottom shelf is the one that worries you. Supercooler Technology improves the air circulation so the whole cabinet holds closer to the set temperature, and it also pulls the cabinet back down faster after the door has been standing open — which, in a busy shop, is most of the day. Even cold across all four shelves means every sale is a properly chilled one.
Manual defrost — an honest word about the routine this needs
We'd rather tell you this before you buy than have you discover it in month two. This is a manual-defrost cooler. Every time the door opens, humid air meets the cold coil and frost gradually builds up. Left alone, that frost insulates the coil, weakens cooling and pushes up your electricity use. So every few weeks you need to switch the unit off, move the stock, let the frost melt, wipe it out and restart — a couple of hours, best done before opening. In exchange you get a simpler machine: no defrost heater, no extra electronics, fewer parts to fail and a lower running draw. If you have staff who can schedule it, that's a good trade. If nobody can reliably do it, tell us and we'll point you at a frost-free cabinet instead.
Lit, lockable, and movable — three features that earn their keep daily
LED interior lighting turns the cabinet into a display: lit bottles and packs pull the eye from across a shop, which is the whole point of buying a glass-door cooler rather than a solid one. The lock matters after closing — in a pantry, a corridor or an unattended counter, the contents have real value and a locked door settles it. And the castor wheels are the underrated one: at 66 kg empty, this would be a two-person job to shift, but on wheels one person can roll it out to sweep behind it, which is the difference between cleaning behind the cooler weekly and cleaning behind it twice a year.
