Seven shelves in a 300-litre cabinet is unusual, and it's the practical reason to choose this one. Most coolers give you four or five — fine for bottles, wasteful for anything short. With seven adjustable positions you can set the spacing to the product you actually sell: close together for cans, curd cups, chocolate, small medicine boxes and packaged snacks, where a tall shelf gap is just dead air you're paying to cool. And when you need height, take one shelf out and you have room for 1.5 or 2-litre bottles standing upright. That flexibility is worth real money in a small shop: it's the difference between filling 300 litres and only using two-thirds of it. Set it up once for your stock mix, and reset it whenever the mix changes.
Frost free — the maintenance job that never appears
This is the single biggest operational difference between coolers, and it's worth being clear about. A manual-defrost cabinet builds ice on its coil every time the door opens. Left alone, that ice insulates the coil, weakens cooling and raises your electricity bill — so every few weeks you must switch off, move all the stock, wait hours for it to melt, wipe it out and restart. Frost free removes that entirely: the unit runs its own defrost cycle automatically, drains the water away, and goes back to cooling without you doing anything or the display ever being empty. For a shop with no spare staff hours — which is most shops — this is the feature that decides whether the cabinet keeps performing in year three.
Two square feet — capacity bought in height, not floor
In a kirana shop or a café counter, floor area is the thing you never have more of. This cabinet takes 61.5 cm across and 61 cm deep — roughly two square feet — and puts 300 litres above it, standing 179 cm tall. That's the right trade: a wide, low cooler eats counter frontage and shows the customer the tops of bottles, while a tall narrow one presents a full wall of labelled stock to someone standing in front of it. Before ordering, measure the gap where it's going — width, depth, and height with clearance above for heat to escape. Also check the route in: doorway, passage and lift if it's not going on the ground floor.
