✅ Check your model before ordering
This filter fits the Blueair Classic 200 Series. Confirm your purifier is one of these:
The model number is printed on a label on the back or base of your purifier. If you have a 400, 500 or 600 Series Blueair, you need a different filter — send us a photo of the label on 9710000251 and we'll confirm the right one.
Smoke
Stop™gases, not just particles
A standard particle filter catches things you can see under a microscope. It does almost nothing about things you can smell. Smoke, cooking odours, traffic exhaust, paint and furniture fumes are gases — molecules, not particles — and they pass straight through any particle mesh, however fine. That's why a room can test clean on an AQI reading and still smell of last night's cooking or the road outside. The SmokeStop™ filter adds high-grade activated carbon to trap them: VOCs, smoke and fine smoke particles, chemical fumes, traffic exhaust, smog and odour-causing pollutants. If you live near traffic, cook heavily, or have a smoker in the house, this is the version to fit.
HEPASilent™ — less dense fibres, and why that's better
The instinct is that a denser filter must clean better. In practice a dense filter chokes airflow, so the fan works harder, the machine gets louder, and less air actually passes through it per hour. Blueair's HEPASilent™ approach uses less dense fibres combined with an electrostatic charge, which delivers higher airflow, lower noise, reduced energy consumption and stronger particulate capture at the same time. The filter still traps allergens, dust, mould spores, bacteria, viruses, pollen and pet dander — it simply does it without strangling the machine. It's why a Blueair runs quietly at settings where other purifiers are audible across a room.
Genuine Blueair — the cheap filter costs more
Generic filters are the false economy of the air purifier world. They're built to fit the slot, not to match the machine, and the usual result is degraded airflow and filtration: the fan strains against a filter it wasn't designed for, so the purifier gets louder, uses more electricity, and cleans less air per hour than it should. An authentic Blueair filter is crafted to maintain the original purifier's performance, airflow and efficiency, and it keeps your manufacturer warranty intact — which a non-genuine filter can void. On a machine you bought precisely for its performance, fitting a generic part defeats the purchase.

🌿 Natural and safe materials
The carbon is high-porosity coconut carbon rather than a chemically treated substitute, and the fibres resist bacterial and mould growth naturally — which matters on something sitting damp-adjacent in a room for six months at a time.
Blueair publishes the hour figure alongside the months, so you can judge by actual running time rather than by the calendar if you use it seasonally.
Layered density with magnesium dioxide and copper oxide impregnation, which extends what the filter can neutralise beyond carbon alone.
The whole filter can be recycled, so cleaning your air twice a year doesn't mean adding to landfill twice a year.
Fitting genuine Blueair keeps the purifier's manufacturer warranty valid — a generic filter can void it, which is rarely worth the saving.
