Description
A 2-Ton Stabilizer With a Screen, Under Three Thousand.
5 KVA Β· 170β270 V Β· Digital Β· High-Low Cut-Off.
The value option for a 2-ton air conditioner, and it doesn't skip the features that matter Β· high-low voltage cut-off β when the supply goes beyond safe correction, it disconnects the AC rather than passing the fault through to the compressor Β· a digital LED display showing input and output voltage live, so you can see exactly what your supply is doing and that the unit is working Β· microcontroller-based sensing for accurate, responsive correction Β· a 5 KVA rating for one AC up to 2 ton, split or window Β· a 170 V to 270 V input range covering normal urban fluctuation Β· a vacuum transformer design that runs cooler and draws less Β· easy to install, nothing to maintain Β· 2-year manufacturer warranty
Hi-Lo
cut-offknows when to give up
Every stabilizer has a limit, and what it does at that limit is the thing worth paying for. Within its range this unit corrects the voltage and passes clean power through. But when the supply goes beyond what can be safely corrected β a severe sag, a spike, a neutral problem β a basic stabilizer simply passes it along, and your compressor takes it. High-low cut-off disconnects the output instead, reconnecting only when conditions return to safe. Your AC stops for a few minutes; without it, your AC may stop permanently. On a 2-ton machine, that is by some distance the most valuable feature here.
The display, and why it's not just a gadget at this price
Most stabilizers under βΉ3,000 are a sealed box with an indicator lamp: you have no idea what your supply is doing or whether the unit is doing anything. This one shows input and output voltage live, and that's genuinely useful. You learn what your building's supply actually does over a day β which tells you whether the protection is earning its keep. You can watch the stabilizer work: input swinging, output steady. And when someone says the AC isn't cooling properly, the display answers the voltage question in two seconds instead of an electrician's visit. Getting this on a budget unit is unusual.
Check the range against your area before you order
This is the one thing to confirm, and it takes a minute. The BA 517 works from 170 V to 270 V, which covers ordinary urban fluctuation well. If your colony regularly drops below 170 V on summer evenings β and some genuinely do β you need our wider 140β270 V model instead. We'd rather tell you that now than have you fit the wrong unit. On load: 5 KVA is for one AC up to 2 ton, and one only β never a second appliance. And worth knowing honestly, many recent inverter ACs are specified by their makers as needing no external stabilizer at all. Send us your AC model and your area β we'll tell you either way.
π‘οΈ What protects your AC
High Cut-Off
Disconnects on over-voltage
Low Cut-Off
Disconnects on under-voltage
Microcontroller
Accurate, responsive correction
Vacuum Transformer
Runs cooler, draws less
π― Right for
Not suitable for more than one appliance, or areas where supply drops below 170 V β for those, ask about our 140β270 V model. For a 1.5-ton AC, a 4 KVA unit costs less and is the correct rating.
βοΈ At a glance
Bluebird build stabilizers and transformers specifically β over three decades of it β rather than treating voltage regulation as a sideline.
A 2-ton AC compressor replacement costs many times this, and repeated low-voltage starting is one of the things that kills them.
When the AC underperforms, the display tells you at a glance whether the supply is the cause β no guessing, no service call.
No filters, no consumables, no routine servicing β just correct installation and clear space around it.
Send us your AC model and your area's voltage behaviour and we'll confirm this is the right unit.

Bluebird 5 KVA Β· BA 517 Β· Voltage Stabilizer for 2 Ton AC Β· 170β270 V Input Β· Digital Display Β· Microcontroller Control Β· High-Low Cut-Off Β· Vacuum Transformer Β· 2-Year Warranty
Warranty as per Bluebird's terms and conditions β 2 years manufacturer warranty, subject to T&C; coverage of the transformer, relay and control components, microcontroller and regulation circuit, display, cabinet, cables and accessories, parts and labour, exclusions and the service process are subject to brand policy and the final invoice or warranty documentation. Regulation performance, supported input range, cut-off behaviour, display accuracy, energy consumption, heating and noise depend on incoming voltage, load current, compressor starting current, AC type and model, wiring condition, earthing, socket and MCB rating, ambient temperature, ventilation, installation quality and maintenance. The 5 KVA rating and suitability for one AC up to 2 ton are general compatibility guidance: verify the connected AC's rated current, maximum input, starting load and the AC manufacturer's own stabilizer recommendation before purchase and installation. Do not connect multiple appliances or an incompatible load. High-low cut-off reduces risk but does not guarantee protection in every fault condition; a voltage stabilizer manages fluctuation within its specified range and cannot protect against every surge, lightning strike, short circuit, wiring fault, neutral failure or voltage outside that range. Energy-saving references relate to the transformer design and do not guarantee any specific reduction in electricity cost. Installation and electrical connection must be carried out by a qualified electrician with proper earthing, wiring, MCB protection and ventilation clearance. Do not cover the unit or install it near water, heat, direct sunlight or flammable materials.
