Indian cooking is the hardest test a kitchen chimney ever faces, and the number that decides whether it passes is suction — measured honestly. This is rated at 1300 m³/h as per IS374, the Indian standard, which matters because suction figures quoted without a test standard are frequently optimistic. At that rate, the oil-laden smoke from deep frying, the sharp burst from a tadka and the heat of a long bhuna are drawn away within seconds rather than drifting up to settle on your cabinets, walls and ceiling. Across 90 cm of capture width, sitting generously wider than a standard hob, it catches the plume where it actually spreads.
Filterless technology — the end of scrubbing baffle filters
Ask anyone who owns a conventional chimney what they hate about it, and the answer is the filters: mesh or baffle plates that clog with grease, choke the airflow, and have to be unscrewed and scrubbed every few weeks. Bosch removes them entirely. A filterless centrifugal system spins oil particles out of the airstream and collects them in a small detachable cup that you simply empty. Nothing clogs, so suction doesn't fade month by month the way it does on a filtered chimney. Then Heat Auto Clean handles the residue: a heated cycle melts collected grease loose in under 10 minutes, and a sensor reminds you to run it every 30 hours of cooking. Maintenance becomes something you press a button for.
Wave right to start, left to stop — because your hands are covered in atta
Every chimney control eventually gets greasy, because you reach for it mid-cooking with whatever is on your hands. Gesture control removes the problem: wave right to start, wave left to shut off, with no contact at all. It's the kind of feature that sounds like a gimmick until the first time you turn the chimney on with a hand covered in dough or oil, and then it becomes the thing you use every day. The responsive touch panel is there when you want it, giving direct access to speed and lighting on a flat black glass surface that wipes clean in seconds — no ridges or button surrounds for grease to hide in.

This is a ducted chimney, so it vents cooking fumes outside the building rather than recirculating them — which means the heat and humidity of cooking leave with the smoke. Tell us where your duct can run and we'll advise before installation day.
Two 1.5W warm-white LEDs light the hob without glare, and the brightness adjusts — full power while you're cooking, low for a softer light over the counter afterwards.
Powerful extraction usually means noise. An advanced motor design keeps this from 55 dB at lower speeds, so you can hold a conversation across the kitchen while it's running.
Modest power draw for the suction delivered, which matters on an appliance that runs for an hour or more every single day of the year.
Bosch builds kitchen ventilation around precision and longevity — the reason a Bosch chimney is still extracting at full strength years after a cheaper unit has started to rattle and fade.
