Kadhaithe cycle that decides it
This is the question every Indian family asks about a dishwasher, and it's the right question: will it actually clean a kadhai? A European dishwasher is designed around plates with sauce on them. Indian cooking leaves burnt-on masala, turmeric staining and a film of oil on heavy steel — which a 50°C eco cycle will not shift. The Intensive Kadhai programme runs at 70°C, and that temperature is what melts oil rather than just moving it around. It's the difference between a dishwasher your family uses daily and one that gets used for glasses while the real utensils are still done by hand. Worth being honest, though: a heavily burnt tawa may still want a soak first, and the machine works best when you scrape solids off before loading.
Ten years against rust-through — read what it actually covers
This is an unusual warranty and worth understanding precisely, because it tells you something about the build. Bosch covers the inner cavity for ten years against rusting through from the inside. That matters because the cavity is the part living in hot water, detergent and salt for years — and a cavity that corrodes ends the machine, since it isn't economically replaceable. Offering a decade of cover on that specific failure is a statement about the steel and the manufacturing. Be clear on the limits, though: it covers rusting-through of the cavity from inside, not every kind of corrosion, not external marks, and not rust on racks or accessories — and it's separate from the 2-year product warranty covering everything else. Semi-integrated — what that word means for your kitchen
Three types of dishwasher exist and the names confuse people, so here's the practical difference. A freestanding machine sits on its own with a finished front. A fully integrated one disappears completely behind a cabinet panel — controls hidden inside the door, so you can't see the cycle status without opening it. Semi-integrated, which is this one, is the middle path: the door takes your kitchen's own panel so it blends into the cabinetry, but the control strip stays visible along the top edge. You can see the programme running and the time remaining at a glance, without opening the door mid-cycle. The trade is that the control strip is visible rather than a seamless run of cabinet fronts — most people find that a fair exchange for being able to see what the machine is doing.
