Connectmore useful than it sounds
App control on an appliance is usually a gimmick. On a dishwasher it isn't, for one specific reason: a dishwasher is the appliance you most want to run when you're not in the room. Load it after dinner, then start it from your phone at eleven when the kitchen is quiet and nobody is trying to sleep next to it — or on the way home so it's finished when you walk in. You get a notification when the cycle ends, which is what stops a load sitting damp in a closed machine overnight and smelling by morning. And the app runs diagnostics: if something goes wrong you can read the fault before calling service, which often means the technician arrives already knowing what he needs. Intensive Kadhai at 70°C — the objection every customer raises
Every dishwasher conversation in an Indian home arrives at the same question: will it clean my kadhai? It's a fair doubt. A standard European wash cycle is built for plates with sauce on them, not for burnt tadka, dried dal welded to steel, or the film of oil that a week of Indian cooking leaves on a heavy pan. The Intensive Kadhai programme runs at 70°C — considerably hotter than a normal cycle — because heat is what actually dissolves cooking oil. Paired with the height-adjustable upper rack and foldable tines, which is what lets a deep kadhai, a pressure cooker or large thalis physically fit, it makes the machine usable for the way Indian kitchens actually cook. Genuinely burnt-on residue still wants a soak first — no dishwasher changes that.
9.5 litres a cycle, and what AquaStop is really for
A full 14-setting load on 9.5 litres surprises most people, and it's the number to quote when someone says a dishwasher must waste water. The machine recirculates and filters the same water through the cycle rather than running a tap continuously, which is the whole reason it uses less than washing the same load by hand. At 1.35 kWh it's modest on electricity too. AquaStop covers the risk that worries people about plumbing an appliance into a kitchen: it monitors for leaks continuously and shuts the water supply off if it detects one, so a failed hose doesn't quietly flood a kitchen while the house is empty. Eco 50°C is the one to use daily. It takes longer but uses the least water and power — and since the machine usually runs overnight, the extra time costs you nothing.
