Description
72 cm for Three Burners.
The Most Space Per Burner We Sell.
A wide cooktop with only three burners — which sounds like less and is actually more · 72 cm of MaxSpace Cookzone across three burners means each one has more room around it than on any other cooktop or hob in our range · the FlameFlex burner system in small, medium and large, so every vessel gets a flame sized for it · Tornado brass burners · a slim hybrid design that can stand on the counter as a cooktop or drop into a slab as a hob · toughened glass in black · manual ignition — you light it yourself · 2 years comprehensive plus 5 years on the burners and glass, the same long cover Crompton puts on hobs four times the price
Three in
seventy-twospace per burner
Most people count burners and stop there. The more useful question is how much room each burner actually gets. Four burners in a 60 cm hob means two large vessels and two small ones, with handles overlapping. Three burners across 72 cm is the opposite arrangement — each burner has genuine clearance, so a large kadhai, a big tawa and a pressure cooker can all run at the same time without fouling one another. For the way most Indian households actually cook — a few big vessels rather than four small ones — that is the more useful layout. The trade is real: you get three burners, not four, so if you routinely need a fourth ring going, look at the four-burner instead. But if your problem has been vessels colliding rather than running out of burners, this solves the right one.
Five years on the burners and glass — on a ₹6,500 cooktop
This is the specification that makes the price look strange in a good way. 2 years comprehensive plus 5 years on the burners and the glass is the same warranty structure Crompton puts on built-in hobs costing four times this — and those two parts are precisely what fails late. Burners corrode, clog and lose even flame distribution after years of boil-overs and scrubbing; glass is what cracks. On a cheaper cooktop both are out of cover at two years and you are buying a replacement at four. Ask us to confirm the terms in writing on your invoice, and understand that accidental glass breakage from impact or thermal shock is normally excluded on every brand — the cover is for defects, not for a heavy vessel dropped on a corner.
Manual ignition — know this before you buy
This cooktop does not have auto ignition. You light the burners yourself, with a lighter or a match. We say that plainly because it is the detail most likely to surprise someone, and it is easy to miss in a specification table. There is a fair case for it: there is no ignition battery to die and no spark unit to fail, which is one fewer electrical component on a gas appliance and part of why this costs what it does. Plenty of households prefer it. But if you are used to turning a knob and having the burner light, this will feel like a step back, and the choice should be made knowingly rather than discovered on delivery day. If auto ignition matters to you, tell us and we will show you what has it.
🎯 Right for
Measure the counter run before ordering — 72 cm plus clearance is wider than most three-burner cooktops. If you need four burners running at once, ask us about the four-burner Oressa instead; it's 70 cm, so slightly narrower with one more ring.
Stand it on the counter, or drop it into a slab later. No cut-out is needed to use it as a cooktop — and it moves house with you.
Brass takes repeated heat and cleaning without corroding the way cheap alloy does. It discolours with use — normal, not a fault.
A large burner under the kadhai, a small one under the tea pan. Identical burners look tidy and cook badly.
Wipes clean far more easily than a steel top. Black shows water marks, so keep a dry cloth to hand.

Crompton Oressa CKT-ORR723-MSB · 3-Burner 72 cm Slim Glass Cooktop · MaxSpace Cookzone · FlameFlex · Tornado Brass Burners · Small + Medium + Large · Toughened Glass · Hybrid Hob–Cooktop Design · Manual Ignition · Black · 2-Year Comprehensive + 5 Years On Burners And Glass
Warranty as per Crompton's terms and conditions — 2 years comprehensive on the product plus 5 years on the burners and glass from the date of purchase; the scope of cover, treatment of the glass top, burners, pan supports and knobs, parts and labour, exclusions, registration requirements and the service process are subject to brand policy and the final invoice or warranty card, and should be confirmed in writing before purchase. Glass breakage and damage arising from impact, thermal shock, misuse or improper cleaning is generally not covered by any warranty. This model has manual ignition and does not include an auto-ignition system. This is a gas appliance and must be connected by a qualified technician using a compatible regulator and an ISI-marked gas hose; the hose must be inspected regularly and replaced at the interval marked on it. Gas hose, regulator, nozzle kit, nozzle conversion for alternative gas supply, installation labour and any counter or civil work are chargeable separately unless expressly included on the final invoice. LPG and PNG compatibility for this model is not stated in supplier material and must be confirmed before purchase. The presence of a flame failure device, pan support type, individual burner heat ratings and full external dimensions are likewise not stated in supplier material for this model and should be confirmed with us before ordering. Where the appliance is to be installed as a built-in hob, cut-out dimensions must be obtained from the manufacturer's installation template and are smaller than the appliance's external dimensions; counter cutting is irreversible and is the customer's responsibility to verify before work begins. Used as a countertop cooktop, the appliance must be placed on a flat, stable, heat-tolerant surface with adequate clearance from walls and combustible materials. The appliance must be used only in a well-ventilated kitchen and never for space heating; the cylinder valve should be closed after use, and leak testing must be carried out with soap solution and never with a flame. Do not use oversized or excessively heavy vessels, particularly on smaller burners. Flame output, gas consumption, cooking times and burner life depend on gas quality and pressure, regulator condition, burner and port cleanliness, cookware size, weight and material, ambient conditions, user technique and maintenance; brass burners discolour with normal use, which is not a defect.
