Seven
hundred voltsthe spec that saves the machine
The most expensive thing that goes wrong with a modern air conditioner is not the compressor — it is the control board. An inverter AC is run by a PCB, and a PCB is what a voltage surge kills. In much of Delhi NCR that isn't a rare event: a spike when the supply returns after a cut, a fluctuating line in an older colony, a transformer problem down the street — and the board is gone, usually in the middle of the summer you bought the machine for. Daikin's Super PCB is rated to withstand surges up to 700 V, and the unit operates across a 130–285 V range, which is wide enough that many installations won't need an external stabiliser at all. That is a genuine saving and one less box on your wall. But be honest about your own supply: if your locality suffers heavy or frequent fluctuation, tell us and we'll still recommend a stabiliser — protection built into the machine is a strong first line, not a licence to ignore a bad line.
ISEER 4.80 — and why that number beats the star count
Star ratings are graded by capacity band, which is why a 3-star figure on a large machine is not comparable to a 3-star figure on a small one. ISEER is the underlying number, and it is the one to compare. It expresses how much cooling you get per unit of electricity across a season's range of conditions, rather than at a single test point — so a higher ISEER genuinely means a cheaper machine to run, whatever the star count on the sticker says. At 4.80 this is the highest ISEER in our Daikin range, above the 4.40 on the 1.8 ton. The annual figure of 1476.47 kWh is what that translates to under the standard test usage pattern — useful for comparison between models, though your actual consumption depends entirely on how many hours you run it and at what setting. When comparing any two ACs, ask for ISEER and annual kWh together. A brand that will only give you the star count is not giving you enough to decide on.
Two coatings on the coil — because Delhi air is what kills condensers
The outdoor coil is the part that fails quietly and expensively, and in this city it fails from corrosion rather than wear. Dust settles into the fins, monsoon humidity keeps it damp, and pollutants in the air do the rest — the fins corrode, heat transfer drops, and the machine works harder every year to do the same job until something gives. This unit carries two protective layers on a copper coil: a BTA oil-based coating and Daikin's DNNS self-heal coating. Copper matters on its own account too — it transfers heat better than aluminium and, crucially, a copper coil can be brazed and repaired where an aluminium one usually means replacement. None of it removes the need for maintenance: the single most useful thing you can do is keep the outdoor unit clear and have the coil cleaned at the annual service. The coatings buy you years; neglect takes them straight back.
🎯 Right for
2.6 ton is the largest single-split capacity most homes will ever need. For anything bigger, or for several rooms, ask us about multiple units rather than one oversized machine — an AC that's too large for its room satisfies fast and leaves the air damp.
Seven sensors across both indoor and outdoor units reading temperature and load, adjusting output continuously rather than cycling against one thermostat.
Reach for a long room from one wall position, with swing on both axes so air gets to corners instead of pooling near the unit.
Quiet for a machine of this size — big ACs normally need a bigger fan, and that fan is what you hear. Outdoor noise isn't stated; ask if neighbours are close.
Adjustable brightness, readable at night without turning a light on. Small thing, used every single day.

Warranty as per Daikin Airconditioning India's terms and conditions — 1 year on the product, 5 years on the PCB and 10 years on the compressor as stated in supplier material. The scope of cover, parts and labour, exclusions, product registration and the service process are subject to brand policy and the final invoice or warranty card. Daikin from time to time runs limited-period comprehensive warranty offers on Split Hi-Wall Inverter ACs; any promotional offer text appearing elsewhere on this listing may relate to an offer period that has since closed, and current offer availability, eligibility and terms must be confirmed with us at the time of purchase. Authorised installation is recommended for warranty compliance; improper installation may affect cover. Supplier material for this model states the BEE rating as 3 Star in the title and specification while the product images are labelled 4 Star; the certified rating must be confirmed against the unit's BEE label before purchase. The recommended room size of 200–210 sq ft stated in supplier material appears inconsistent with a 2.6 ton capacity and should not be relied upon for sizing; capacity should be assessed against the actual room. Cooling performance, pull-down time, air throw, comfort and electricity consumption vary with room size, ceiling height, insulation, orientation, glass area, occupancy, heat load, outdoor ambient temperature, indoor and outdoor unit siting, airflow clearance, installation quality, refrigerant charge, filter and coil condition, thermostat setting and supply voltage. Stated figures for cooling capacity, ISEER of 4.80, annual consumption of 1476.47 kWh, 16 m air throw, 39 dB indoor noise, 100% cooling at 43°C, operation to 52°C and surge withstand to 700 V are manufacturer specifications measured under standard test conditions and are not a guarantee of performance in any particular installation; the stated noise level refers to the indoor unit, and outdoor unit noise is not stated. BEE star ratings and ISEER are as certified at the time of manufacture and are subject to periodic revision. PM 2.5 and multi-stage filtration performance depends on test conditions, usage and filter maintenance, and does not constitute a medical or health claim. Anti-corrosion coil coatings slow but do not prevent corrosion; periodic professional servicing, coil cleaning and filter cleaning remain necessary. The wide operating voltage range reduces but does not eliminate the case for an external stabiliser; where supply voltage fluctuates heavily or falls outside the stated range, a stabiliser remains advisable. Outdoor unit dimensions and weight are not stated in supplier material and should be confirmed before planning the outdoor unit position, platform or brackets. Installation charges stated in supplier material for this listing differ from those stated on other Daikin listings and must be confirmed at the time of purchase; additional copper piping beyond that supplied, drain piping, outdoor stand or brackets, wall core cutting, electrical work and dedicated circuit provision, gas charging, access equipment, scaffolding, crane or rope access, and any civil work are chargeable separately unless expressly included on the final invoice. Site readiness, including a structurally sound wall, a suitable earthed electrical point and adequate outdoor unit clearance, is the customer's responsibility.
