Description
Two things to know before ordering
This is the international version of the WashG1, supplied with a 1 year warranty against manufacturing defects. That is a shorter term than the 2 years carried by most of the Dyson range, and the cover, claims process and service route differ from a standard India-market unit. Please have us confirm the exact terms with you before you pay. Second, this machine washes hard floors only. It is not a vacuum cleaner for carpets, rugs, upholstery or mattresses, and it does not replace one. If your home is mostly carpeted, this is not the right machine — call 9710000251 and we will tell you so.
Two Rollers Turning Against Each Other.
Wet Spills and Dry Debris, One Pass.
A cordless floor washer built for hard floors alone · two counter-rotating motorised rollers carrying 64,800 microfibre filaments per cm² · 26 hydration points fed by a pulse-modulated pump, so water reaches the edges as evenly as the centre · dirty water and dry debris collected separately for no-touch disposal · secondary brush bars clearing hair and debris off the rollers as you work · extraction plates wringing moisture out before the roller returns to the floor · a 140-second self-cleaning cycle that runs at the dock · three hydration modes · up to 35 minutes from a four-cell click-in battery, covering up to 290 m² per tank · 4.9 kg · made in India
Two
rollers,
opposedwhy counter-rotation matters
A conventional mop drags a wet cloth across the floor in the direction you push it, which slides loose dirt along rather than lifting it. The WashG1 uses two motorised rollers turning in opposite directions. Because they oppose each other, dirt is caught between two contrary scrubbing forces rather than being pushed ahead of the machine — it is worked loose and taken up. Each roller carries 64,800 microfibre filaments per square centimetre, packed densely enough to reach into tile grout lines and the shallow texture of natural stone, where a flat mop pad simply bridges over the top. Two further mechanisms keep the rollers themselves working: secondary brush bars comb debris and hair off them continuously, and extraction plates squeeze the moisture out before each roller comes back round to the floor. The result is that the surface touching your floor stays comparatively clean throughout, instead of becoming steadily dirtier as a mop does. The opposing rotation also pulls the machine forward, so it takes noticeably less effort to push.
Dirty water and dry debris are kept apart
This is the design decision that separates the WashG1 from most wet-and-dry floor machines, and it is worth understanding because it determines what emptying the machine is actually like. On a typical wet vacuum, everything picked up goes into one container — dirty water, dust, crumbs, hair, food. What you pour out a day later is a wet sludge, and the tank itself develops an odour that is difficult to shift. The WashG1 routes them separately. Waste liquid is collected in a sealed dirty water tank that lifts out and pours away into a sink. Dry debris is caught in a quick-release tray that tips straight into a bin. Neither requires you to put a hand inside or handle the contents. Because the solids are never sitting in water, the tray stays far more pleasant to empty and the machine does not develop the smell that mop buckets and single-tank wet vacuums are notorious for.
26 hydration points — water reaches the edges, not just the middle
A floor washer is only as good as the evenness of the water it puts down, and this is where simpler machines fall short. Deliver water through one or two central points and the middle of the roller is properly wetted while the two ends run comparatively dry — so the edge of each pass cleans less well than the centre, and you end up going over the same strip repeatedly to get an even result. The WashG1 feeds water through 26 points spread across the full width of the roller, supplied by a pulse-modulated pump that holds the delivery steady rather than surging at the start and fading as the tank empties. Every part of the roller carries the same amount of water from the first pass to the last. In practice that means no dry stripes down the sides of your passes and no over-wet patches in the middle, and a floor that dries evenly rather than in bands.
💧 Three hydration modes
Select the mode to suit the floor and the mess. Lower hydration puts down less water and dries faster, which is what sealed wood and laminate want; higher hydration is for dried-on kitchen and bathroom marks.
🏠 Designed for these floors
⚠️ Hard floors only. This machine is not for carpets, rugs, upholstery or mattresses, and it is not a substitute for a vacuum cleaner on those surfaces. Unsealed, waxed or damaged wood should not be wet-cleaned — check with your flooring supplier if you are unsure.
Dock it and the cycle flushes clean water through the roller system and drains the waste to the tank, so the rollers are rinsed before storage rather than left damp and dirty.
A four-cell click-in battery. The battery removes for charging without moving the machine, and one tank covers most apartment floors in a single fill.
The slim head reaches under beds, sofas, dining tables and kitchen cabinets — where floor grime gathers and bulkier machines cannot get.
Water is carried, dispensed and recovered inside the machine. Nothing to fill, carry, wring out, empty or leave standing in a corner to dry.

This is the international version of this model. Warranty is stated in supplier material as 1 year against manufacturing defects, which differs from the term applicable to standard India-market Dyson products. The scope of cover, parts and labour, exclusions, the claims process and the applicable service route must be confirmed on the final invoice or warranty card before purchase. Consumable and wear items including rollers, filters, batteries, tanks and trays may be excluded or covered for a shorter period, and damage arising from use on unsuitable surfaces, use of unapproved liquids or additives, picking up hot, sharp or construction debris, or from storing damp components, is commonly excluded. Roller density, hydration point count, runtime, coverage, capacity, dimensions and weight are manufacturer specifications measured under their own test conditions. The stated runtime of up to 35 minutes and coverage of up to 290 m² per tank are maxima; actual figures vary with hydration mode selected, floor type, soiling, battery age and charge state. Clean water tank capacity, charge time and noise level are not stated in supplier material and should be confirmed before purchase. Explanations of counter-rotation, waste separation and hydration distribution provided here are general information to aid understanding and are not manufacturer specifications. Actual cleaning performance depends on floor type and finish, soiling, roller condition, hydration mode and technique. This appliance is intended for sealed hard floors only. It must not be used on carpets, rugs, upholstery or mattresses, or on unsealed, waxed or damaged flooring; it is not a substitute for a vacuum cleaner on those surfaces. Suitability for a particular floor finish should be confirmed with the flooring manufacturer or supplier, and Mahajan Electronics accepts no liability for damage to flooring arising from use contrary to the manufacturer's instructions. Only clean water may be placed in the tank unless the manufacturer's instructions expressly permit otherwise. The appliance must not be used to pick up hot ash, cigarette ends, matches, smouldering items, sharp debris or construction dust. Motorised rollers can entangle hair and loose clothing and must be kept clear during operation; the battery must be removed before clearing blockages or removing rollers. Waste tanks and trays must be emptied after every use and components allowed to dry fully before storage. Freshly washed floors may be slippery until dry. Lithium-ion batteries must be charged only with the supplied charger, kept away from high temperatures and direct sunlight, withdrawn from use immediately if swelling or overheating occurs, and are subject to airline and aviation authority regulations when travelling. Keep away from children during operation and store securely.
