spun outwhy the station keeps its strength
Auto-empty stations have a weakness that shows up a few weeks after you buy one, and it is worth understanding before you choose between models. Most of them pull the robot's dust straight through a filter into a bag. The filter is doing all the work, so it clogs steadily, and as it clogs the airflow through it drops — which means the station empties the robot less thoroughly each time, until you change the filter. PureCyclone™ puts a cyclone in front of the filter instead. Air carrying dust is spun rapidly so the particles are flung outwards by centrifugal force and drop out, and roughly 95% of the dust never reaches the filter at all. Two consequences follow. The filter lasts considerably longer, because it is only handling the fine remainder. And the emptying force stays consistent as the station fills rather than fading away.
Vacuuming and mopping at the same time — one pass, not two
Many robots described as 2-in-1 do the two jobs one after the other: vacuum the floor, then go round again to mop, which takes twice as long and means the machine is running for hours. The N30 Plus does both in the same movement. The suction inlet lifts dry debris while the mopping pad, trailing directly behind it, wipes the same strip of floor a fraction of a second later. That ordering matters more than it sounds — mopping a floor that has not been vacuumed first turns loose grit into muddy streaks, and doing both together means the pad always meets an already-swept surface. The robot senses the floor type as it goes, raising suction when it reaches carpet and adjusting water flow on hard floors, so you are not switching modes by hand. Dual side brushes sweep debris in from wall edges and corners into the suction path.
300 minutes and 3,500 sq ft — with recharge and resume as the backstop
Five hours of continuous running is enough to cover a large flat or a three to five bedroom house in a single session, including hallways and the transitions between rooms, and dock finished rather than half done. That is the point of the 5200 mAh battery: not the headline number itself, but that most homes never hit its limit. For the ones that do, recharge and resume is the safety net. If the battery runs low mid-session, the robot returns to the dock, charges to a sufficient level, and then goes back to the exact spot where it stopped rather than starting the whole map again. You get a complete clean without having to be there to restart it. Treat 300 minutes and 3,500 sq ft as maxima — both are measured in the lowest suction setting on hard flooring, and real figures are lower with mopping active or on carpet.
