Every robot mop until now has had the same blind spot: it makes one pass and moves on. If a patch of dried tea or a food mark was not fully lifted, it stays there, and you find it later — which means either living with it or scheduling another clean and hoping. The robot itself had no idea it had failed. AI ReMop 2.0 closes that loop. After mopping an area, the robot assesses whether the floor actually came clean, identifies the spots where it did not, and returns to those specific places to work them again with additional scrubbing pressure. It is doing what a person does instinctively — looking at what you have just cleaned and going over the bit that is still marked. There is nothing to schedule, no spot-clean mode to trigger and no second run to start. The practical result is that you stop finding the patches it missed, because it found them first.
Two rollers at 220 rpm, pressed down 16 times harder
Mopping is a mechanical problem, and the two variables that matter are speed and pressure. A flat pad dragged along the floor has almost no pressure behind it beyond the weight of the robot, and no speed at all relative to the floor — which is why it wipes up loose dirt and does nothing to anything dried on. The T80's dual rollers turn at 220 rpm, so the same patch of floor is passed over many times a second, and they are pressed down with roughly sixteen times the force of a standard single-roller mop. That combination is what actually shifts dried cooking splatter, sticky spills and dust bonded into grout, rather than smearing it around. Just as important, the rollers are rinsed in real time throughout the run rather than only at the dock, so the surface touching your floor stays close to clean instead of getting dirtier from room to room. TruEdge sensors extend the mop out towards skirting boards so the strip along the wall is not left behind.
40°C to 75°C — the wash temperature changes with how dirty the mop is
Most stations that wash their mops do it at one fixed temperature, which is a compromise in both directions. Set it low and it will not shift kitchen grease; set it high and every routine wash uses more energy and puts more heat through the roller fabric than a light clean needs. The T80's station varies the water temperature between 40°C and 75°C according to how soiled the rollers actually are. A light pass over a bedroom floor gets a gentle warm wash. A run across a kitchen where oil has been picked up gets the full 75°C, which is the temperature that genuinely lifts a greasy film rather than moving it about. Hot air drying then finishes the job so the rollers are stored dry. That last part matters more than people expect: a damp mop left in a dark station is what makes a robot mop smell within a week, and it is the commonest complaint about the whole category.
