Fifteen
or twenty-fivethe only real question
The Orazio Prime comes in 15 and 25 litres, and choosing between them comes down to one question: does more than one person bathe in the same bathroom, one after another? Fifteen litres is right for a single user, a couple with staggered timings, or any household where bathing is spread across the morning. Where 15 runs out is sequential use — the second or third person on a cold January morning waits for a reheat, and that is the complaint that brings people back to the shop. Twenty-five litres is the size that absorbs that: two people can bathe back-to-back, or one person can take a genuinely unhurried shower, without the tank running to lukewarm. The step up costs a little over a thousand rupees, which is small money against several winters of waiting. Tell us how many people and what time they bathe, and we'll size it properly rather than defaulting to the bigger box.
7 / 4 / 2 — and why the split matters more than the headline
Seven years on the tank, four on the heating element, two on the body and electricals. That is Havells' strongest warranty structure and it is split exactly along the lines a geyser actually fails. The tank and the element are what hard water destroys, and they are the two parts that cost real money to replace — so those are the two that carry the long cover. A brand putting seven years behind a tank is making a claim about its Feroglas coating that it has to honour. When you compare against another geyser, ask for the breakdown rather than a single number — plenty of competing models advertise a big headline figure that turns out to cover only the outer body. It's printed on the warranty card, and we'll go through it with you before you buy.
The anode rod is a consumable — the one thing nobody tells you
This tank is protected two ways: a Feroglas coating over the steel, and an anode rod with a stainless-steel core inside it. The anode is the clever part and the part everyone forgets. It is a sacrificial metal rod that corrodes deliberately, drawing the corrosive attack in hard water onto itself instead of your tank. Doing its job wears it away — which means it needs inspecting and eventually replacing, particularly in Delhi's water. An owner who never touches it for seven years has a geyser running unprotected for the last few of them. Ask us about anode inspection at your first service; it is an inexpensive part, and replacing it in time is precisely what makes a seven-year tank warranty worth having. The Incoloy element does the same job on the heating side, resisting the scale that kills ordinary elements.
🎯 Right for
If only one person uses the bathroom, the 15 L does the same job for less — buying and running. And if four or more people bathe one after another, look at a 35 L. Tell us the pattern and we'll size it honestly.
Adjustable rather than fixed. Set moderate rather than maximum: safer at the tap, cheaper to run, and it scales the element far more slowly.
Havells' adapter with protection against fire and electric shock — an extra layer on top of the thermostat, cut-off and safety valve.
CFC-free foam that reduces radiant heat loss. On a 25-litre tank this matters more than on a small one — there's more stored water to keep warm.
Keeps incoming cold water from mixing straight into the hot. Havells state this yields around 20% more hot water output.
