Description
A model code discrepancy worth clearing up before you order
The supplier specification for this listing quotes model GHWBORSWH015, while the stock code for the unit we hold reads GHWBORSWH025. The last three digits denote capacity, so one of those refers to a 15 litre unit and the other to the 25 litre unit described on this page. We are selling the 25 litre model. If you want the model number confirmed against the actual carton before despatch — and on a geyser it is worth doing — call 9710000251 and we will read it for you. Everything else on this page is as specified.

minutesthe feature that pays for itself
Most households run a geyser in one of two wasteful ways, and both cost money every single day. Either it is left switched on permanently, in which case it reheats itself round the clock to replace heat lost through the insulation — including all night and all day while everybody is out. Or somebody remembers to switch it on twenty minutes before a bath, which works until the morning nobody remembers and there is a cold queue. The digital clock and timer replace both habits. You set the geyser to switch itself on at, say, six in the morning and off again at nine, and the tank is hot exactly when the household needs it and cold the rest of the time. The separate timer mode lets you run a heating cycle of anywhere from ten to a hundred and eighty minutes in ten-minute steps for a one-off need. On an appliance that is among the largest electrical loads in most homes, that scheduling is where the real saving sits.
25°C to 75°C set precisely — not a dial marked hot and cold
An ordinary geyser has a thermostat knob behind a cover, marked with nothing more useful than a minimum and maximum, and most are simply left turned to full. That has three consequences. The water is stored hotter than anybody actually bathes in, so more heat is lost through the insulation every hour. Scale forms faster, because hard water deposits calcium onto the element more rapidly the hotter it runs — and a scaled element heats slowly and eventually fails. And the water arriving at the tap can genuinely scald. The Orizzonte lets you set a number and shows you the real temperature on the display. Setting it to a level that matches how you actually bathe means less standing loss, slower scaling and safer water, without ever running short. The 25°C to 75°C range covers everything from a mild summer setting to a full winter one.
Feroglas tank, anode rod and Incoloy element — the hard water package
Delhi water is hard, and hard water attacks a geyser in two separate ways that need two separate defences. The first is corrosion of the steel tank, which is how almost every water heater eventually dies — it starts to leak, and a leaking tank cannot be repaired. The Feroglas coating puts a glass-based barrier between the water and the steel, and the anode rod adds a second layer by sacrificing itself: it is made of a metal that corrodes more readily than the tank, so the water attacks the rod first. The second problem is scaling on the heating element, where dissolved calcium bakes onto the hot surface and insulates it, so heating slows and the element eventually burns out. The Incoloy glass-coated element is specified to resist that. Havells backs the tank for seven years and the element for four — have the anode rod checked periodically, as it is consumable by design.
🎛️ Controls and smart functions
The remote duplicates the functions of the control panel, so temperature, timer and on/off can all be set from outside the bathroom. Keep the remote dry and outside the shower area — it is a handset, not a waterproof control.
🎯 Suited to
25 litres gives enough hot water for several consecutive uses in a family bathroom. A full 25 litre tank weighs roughly 25 kg more than the empty unit, so the wall and fixings must be sound.
Directs incoming cold water so it does not churn into the heated water above it. More of the tank comes out genuinely hot, and reheating is quicker.
Higher than a standard domestic geyser, giving headroom on high-rise supply lines and homes with a pressure pump fitted.
Protected against splashing water from any direction — appropriate for a bathroom wall, though not for direct jets or immersion.
Manufactured in India, with Havells' domestic service network behind the seven-year tank warranty.

Warranty as per Havells India's terms and conditions — 7 years on the inner tank, 4 years on the heating element and 2 years comprehensive as stated in supplier material. The scope of cover, parts and labour, exclusions, product registration and the service process are subject to brand policy and the final invoice or warranty card. Warranty cover is generally conditional on correct installation by a qualified professional, on a functional multifunction safety valve being fitted, and on the appliance being operated within its rated pressure and supply conditions; damage arising from incorrect installation, excessive supply pressure, dry operation, scaling, or use of water outside the manufacturer's stated quality parameters is commonly excluded. Anode rod inspection and replacement, descaling and other periodic maintenance are the owner's responsibility and may be required to maintain tank warranty validity. Supplier material for this listing quotes model number GHWBORSWH015 while the stock code held reads GHWBORSWH025; the product supplied is the 25 litre model and the model number should be confirmed against the product carton before purchase where this is material. Capacity, temperature range, timer range, power rating, pressure rating and ingress protection are manufacturer specifications measured under their own test conditions. Actual heating time varies with inlet water temperature, supply voltage, ambient temperature, thermostat setting and scale build-up. Energy rating, standing loss, unit dimensions, weight, remote battery type and the inclusion of a safety valve in the box are not stated in supplier material and should be confirmed before purchase; a multifunction safety valve is essential to safe operation and must be fitted whether supplied or purchased separately. Explanations of scheduling, temperature setting, tank construction, anode rod operation and stratified flow provided here are general information to aid understanding and are not manufacturer specifications. This appliance stores water heated under pressure and is installed in a wet environment. It must be installed by a qualified plumber and electrician, mounted on a structurally sound wall with appropriate fixings, and connected to a properly earthed supply protected by a suitably rated ELCB or RCD. The appliance must never be switched on with an empty or partially filled tank. Stored water may reach 75°C, a temperature capable of causing scalding; the setting should be chosen appropriately and particular care taken with children, elderly and vulnerable persons. The touch control panel must not be operated with wet hands and the remote handset must be kept dry and away from the shower area. The appliance must be isolated and drained before any servicing. Operation should be discontinued and service arranged if leakage, electrical tripping, discoloured water or unusual noise occurs. Mahajan Electronics accepts no liability for damage or injury arising from incorrect installation or from use contrary to the manufacturer's instructions. Country of origin is stated in supplier material as India.
