Description
30 Watts of Sound.
On a 32-Inch TV, That's Unusual.
A compact Google TV that is louder than most televisions twice its size · 30 W of Dolby Audio from two 15 W speakers, where a typical 32-inch set gives you 16 W of thin sound that sends people straight out to buy a soundbar · Google TV with Google Assistant and Chromecast built in, so your phone casts to it directly · HDR10 and 300 nits, bright enough for a kitchen or a well-lit room · dual-band Wi-Fi including 5 GHz · three HDMI ports with eARC · a bezel-less frame · just 3.9 kg · 1 year warranty
Sound is where budget 32-inch televisions are usually worst, and it is the reason so many people end up buying a soundbar within a month. A typical set this size gives you around 16 watts through two small drivers, which is enough for the news at low volume and not much else — dialogue gets lost, music sounds thin, and turning it up just makes it harsh. This one has 30 watts across two 15 watt speakers with Dolby Audio processing. In a bedroom, a kitchen or a small living room that is genuinely loud, and more importantly it stays clear when you turn it up rather than distorting. Five sound modes — cinema, music, news, standard and personal — let you set it for what you are actually watching. If you were budgeting for a soundbar alongside a cheaper 32-inch, this is worth hearing first. Come and turn it up in the shop.
Google TV — and why Chromecast built in matters day to day
Google TV is the current version of Android TV, and it pulls what is available across your apps into one home screen rather than making you open each app separately to see what is on. Two things about it are genuinely useful in daily use. Chromecast is built in, so anyone in the house can send a video, a photo album or a cricket stream from their phone to the television without pairing anything or installing an app — it simply appears as a cast target. That is the feature guests use without being told how. And Google Assistant means you can hold the remote button and say what you want rather than typing a film name letter by letter with arrow keys, which anyone who has searched on a TV keyboard will appreciate. 8 GB of storage is modest, so keep an eye on how many apps you install, but it is enough for the main streaming services.
300 nits and HDR10 — what they mean in a real room
Brightness is measured in nits, and 300 is a sensible figure for a television of this class. It means the picture holds up in a room with daylight coming in — a kitchen, a bright bedroom, a shop counter — rather than looking washed out the moment the curtains open. HDR10 support means the set can accept high dynamic range content from streaming services and display it, adjusting contrast so bright areas stay bright and dark areas keep some detail. Be realistic about it though: HDR on a 300 nit HD panel is a modest improvement, not the dramatic effect you get on a bright 4K set, and the honest benefit here is compatibility rather than spectacle. The 178° viewing angle is the more practical specification — it means people sitting off to the side still see proper colour rather than a washed-out picture.
🔌 Connectivity
Three HDMI ports on a 32-inch set is generous — set-top box, console and a stick all connected at once with nothing to unplug. Bluetooth 5.0 also means wireless headphones for late-night viewing without disturbing the house.
🎯 Suited to
At 3.9 kg it is light enough for one person to wall mount, and 71.7 cm wide fits most bedroom walls and kitchen shelves. For a main living room, ask us about a 43 inch Full HD or 4K instead — at that size and distance the resolution starts to matter.
Cast from any phone in the house without pairing or installing anything. The feature guests use without asking how.
Say the film name instead of typing it letter by letter with arrow keys on a TV keyboard.
5 GHz as well as 2.4 GHz, which matters in a flat where every neighbour's router is crowding the 2.4 GHz band.
Slim borders so more of the front is screen — it looks considerably more expensive than it is on a bedroom wall.

Wall mounting requires an appropriate bracket and sound wall structure with correct fixings; where placed on furniture the appliance should be positioned on a firm level surface back from the edge and secured against toppling in households with young children. It must be connected to a properly earthed socket, kept out of direct sunlight and away from water and heat sources, given adequate ventilation clearance, and cleaned only with a dry or barely damp soft cloth without household cleaners, solvents or abrasives. Cables must be routed clear of walkways. Discontinue use and seek service if the cord or plug is damaged, if the panel is cracked, if picture behaviour is abnormal or if burning odour is detected.
