QLED Quantum Dot — why it produces richer colours than standard LCD at the same resolution
Standard LCD TVs use white LED backlights filtered through colour sub-pixels — the LEDs produce a broad white light spectrum, and the colour filters block unwanted wavelengths to produce red, green, and blue.
