Delhi does not run an air conditioner for three months — it runs one from late February to early November, eight hours a night at minimum, and every one of those hours shows up on the bill. This is where an ISEER of 5.60 stops being a sticker and starts being money: rated at 690.72 kWh for a full year of cooling, and drawing just 1275 W at rated input, it is the efficiency tier you buy when the AC is going to work hard for a decade. Hybrid Convertible Mode — the AC sizes itself to the moment
A fixed-output AC is wrong most of the day: too much for one person asleep at 2 AM, too little for a full drawing room on a Sunday afternoon. Hybrid Convertible Mode lets the V518 adjust its effective cooling capacity to the room, the number of people in it, and the way you are actually using it, instead of running flat out regardless. Cool a bedroom at night on a fraction of the capacity; open it up for the whole family when the room fills. Through the shoulder weeks of March and October, when the heat is real but not brutal, it simply takes less capacity to hold the room — and the rotary inverter compressor makes those transitions smoothly, which is easier on the compressor and quieter in the room. Comfort tracks your day; the meter follows the comfort, not the rating plate.
100% copper with inner-grooved tubes, anti-corrosive coating and UV protection
The condenser is 100% copper, and the tubes are inner-grooved — the internal ridges increase the surface area the refrigerant touches, so heat moves out of the room faster than plain smooth-bore construction manages. Copper also resists Delhi NCR's humidity-and-pollution mix far better than aluminium and is cheaper and simpler to service years down the line, which is what decides whether an AC is still cooling strongly in its eighth summer. On top of that sits an anti-corrosive coating for the coil and a UV-protected indoor casing that resists the yellowing direct sunlight causes over years — worth having when the unit is mounted on a wall that gets the afternoon sun through a west-facing window.
