A microwave cooks food through but leaves it pale and soft. A grill browns the surface but takes far longer to cook the middle. Combi-Tec runs both together. Grill + microwave gives you kebabs and tikka with a proper charred surface in a fraction of the time; convection + microwave gives you a roast or a bake that's cooked through and golden on top. That combination is the entire reason to buy a convection microwave rather than a plain one — it's not two appliances in one box, it's a way of cooking neither could manage alone.
Multi-stage cooking — the oven changes mode so you don't have to
Plenty of recipes need two stages: defrost then cook, microwave then grill, bake then brown. On an ordinary oven that means standing in the kitchen waiting to change the setting at the right moment — and if you forget, dinner suffers. Multi-stage cooking transitions between modes automatically, so you programme the sequence once and walk away. Alongside it, weight defrost asks only for the weight of the food and works out time and power itself, and the memory function recalls the settings you use most so a regular dish is one press rather than four.
Built-in — it belongs in the cabinetry, not on the counter
A 34-litre microwave sitting on a worktop consumes an enormous amount of usable counter space, and never quite looks intentional. A built-in unit slots into the modular cabinetry at eye level, freeing the counter entirely and reading as part of the kitchen rather than an appliance parked on it. It's plug and start — no gas connection, no plumbing, just a socket in the cabinet. At 53.9 cm wide, 30 cm high and 43.8 cm deep, it fits a standard built-in housing, and we'll confirm your cabinet opening before dispatch.

A stainless steel cavity matters on a convection model — it takes 220°C repeatedly without discolouring, and it wipes clean rather than staining the way a coated interior does.
