Indian cooking is not gentle cooking. A pressure cooker of rajma, a kadhai of onions going brown for biryani, a tawa hot enough for parathas at 8 AM before school — that is what a hob gets asked to do every single day in a Delhi kitchen. This IFB gives you a 3.5 kW power burner for exactly that heavy work, a 2.5 kW burner alongside it, and two 1.5 kW burners for the dal, the milk and the simmering. Four flames, 900 mm of width, and enough space between the cast-iron grids to run a big kadhai and a pressure cooker side by side without juggling.
3D Brass Burners — up to 25% more heat, up to 25% less gas
A flat flame heats the middle of the pan and wastes the rest around the sides. IFB's 3D brass burners use multiple angular fire outlets in a fire wheel design, so the flame spreads outward and upward across the base of the vessel instead of stabbing at one spot. The practical result is up to 25% higher heat output and up to 25% lower gas consumption — water boils sooner, the tawa comes to temperature evenly, and a cylinder lasts longer. Brass is the right material for the job too: it takes daily heat cycling and Delhi's humid monsoon months without pitting the way lighter burner metals do, and it cleans back to shape after the spills that come with real cooking.
Flame Failure Safety Device — the flame goes out, the gas stops
Doodh boils over, the cooker whistles hard, a window is open and the loo wind gusts through the kitchen — and the flame is gone while the knob is still open. The Flame Failure Safety Device senses that instantly and shuts the gas supply on that burner by itself, so no gas builds up in the room. In a compact flat where the kitchen opens straight into the living area, that is the single feature worth having. It works quietly in the background on every burner, every time, without you doing anything different.

🛠️ What you get on the hob
Oxygen enriched combustion is the one people notice a month in: a cleaner, more complete burn means less soot settling on the base of your vessels and on the chimney filter above, so the kitchen stays cleaner through Delhi's dusty months.
The same hob works two ways. Drop it into a 820 × 475 mm granite cut-out for the flush modular look, or simply stand it on the counter as a freestanding gas stove. Useful if you are in a rented flat now and planning the modular kitchen later — the hob moves with you either way.
Tempered glass takes the heat of daily cooking and wipes down in one pass — no gaps around a steel frame collecting haldi and oil. The bevelled edge and black finish sit cleanly against granite, quartz and dark modular shutters.
Indian cookware is round-bottomed and heavy. Bevelled cast-iron pan supports give a wide, weighted contact area so a full pressure cooker or a loaded kadhai sits flat and stable, and slides across when you need to shift it mid-cook.
