9 Swirl Wash and AI — cleaning power without the abrasion
The trade-off in any washing machine is that the agitation which shifts stains is the same agitation that wears fabric out. IFB's answer is the 9 Swirl Wash system: a multi-directional swirl that mimics hand scrubbing, giving uniform cleaning without the damage a harsher action causes. The Crescent Moon stainless steel drum supports it by holding a film of water between fabric and steel so clothes glide rather than abrade. And AI-based fabric recognition means the machine reads softness and soil level and adjusts wash action to match — so a light load never gets washed as hard as a heavy one.
Two steam functions — one sanitises, one skips the wash entirely
PowerSteam® drives high-temperature steam into the fibres during a proper wash, eliminating 99.99% of bacteria and allergens and improving detergent penetration — which is why it's the setting for babywear, bedding and anything allergy-sensitive. Steam Refresh does something different and genuinely useful: it revives lightly worn clothes in minutes using steam alone, with no detergent and no water. A shirt worn for a few hours, a jacket that smells of the restaurant, a kurta creased in the cupboard before a function — none of those need a full wash, and putting them through one is wasteful and hard on the fabric.
