Most washing machines in Delhi wash in whatever comes out of the tap — which in January is close to ice and in August is lukewarm at best. Neither temperature does much to a curry stain, a monsoon-damp towel or a school uniform that has been through a week of road dust. The Executive Smart Touch SXS carries an in-built heater with five selectable temperatures — 20°C, 30°C, 40°C, 60°C and 95°C — so you choose the wash temperature by fabric and by how hygienic the load needs to be. Baby clothes, bed linen, kitchen cloths and anything that has been near a hospital or a sick household get a genuine hot wash at up to 95°C. Silks, chiffons and woollens get a cool one. The machine, not the season, decides the water temperature.
2X Power Steam — steam twice in a single cycle
Water washes the surface of a fibre; steam gets inside it. IFB's 2X Power Steam runs a dual steam cycle that penetrates deep into the fabric, lifting out tough stains along with germs and allergens that a cold wash leaves behind. For a household with young children, pets or anyone with sensitive skin, that matters more in Delhi than almost anywhere — dust mites and pollen settle into bedding and curtains through the winter, and a steam-assisted wash clears them properly. Paired with the in-built heater and the 9 kg drum, a full week of family bedding goes through in one hygienic load.
Aqua Energie — hard water handled before it reaches your clothes
Delhi's borewell and tanker water is hard, and hard water is what quietly ruins a wardrobe: detergent that will not dissolve properly, whites that turn grey, colours that fade after a season, and scale building up in the machine. The Aqua Energie device is built into the inlet and energises the water before it enters the drum — the filter treatment dissolves detergent better, so the same scoop actually works and clothes come out softer. Add Active Colour Protection, which keeps colours as vibrant as they went in, and Auto Tub Clean to keep the drum itself fresh and odour-free, and the machine looks after the water, the fabric and itself.

🔒 Protection built into the machine
Voltage Protection and Program Memory Backup are made for the Delhi grid. The machine monitors voltage and pauses the programme through a fluctuation, resuming only once levels stabilise — and after a power cut it picks the cycle up from where it stopped rather than starting again.
A large digital touch panel puts all 28 programs and every temperature setting one press away, with customisable wash settings for each fabric type instead of a dial you have to interpret.
Water jets and showers fired from the drum paddles soak the whole load through and dissolve detergent optimally — no dry pockets in the middle of a 9 kg wash, which is exactly where a big load usually cheats you.
Nine kilos takes a full week of a joint family's clothes, or a complete set of double-bed linen and curtains, in a single cycle — fewer loads, less water and less electricity across the month.
