The stain you catch on Sunday evening is the shirt you still own next winter. FABO is a pre-wash treatment, which means it works on the stain before the machine ever sees it — you brush the gel directly onto the mark, give it ten to fifteen minutes to break the stain down, and then wash as usual. That short window is the whole trick: a stain that goes into the drum untreated gets set by agitation and warm water and becomes permanent, while the same stain treated for a quarter of an hour comes out with the wash. Stains fall into two families and most household remedies only handle one. Protein-based marks — egg, blood, dairy — set hard and go brown if you hit them with heat. Non-protein marks — tea, coffee, wine, chocolate, ketchup, grass — are pigment and tannin, and they bond into the fibre.
