Most machines with steam fire it once and call it a feature. This one runs steam twice, at the two points in a cycle where it does completely different jobs. At the start, steam penetrates the weave to dislodge dirt and kill 99.99% of germs — hygiene an ordinary cold wash simply cannot reach. At the end, a second burst relaxes the fabric to reduce wrinkles and leave clothes soft, which means noticeably less time at the ironing board afterwards. Aqua Energie and ActivMix® — solving the two things that spoil a wash
Two problems undermine most laundry in Delhi, and this machine addresses both before the wash even begins. Aqua Energie — IFB's patented technology — treats hard water at the inlet to deactivate calcium ions, which otherwise react with detergent to form limescale spots that fade clothes over time. Then ActivMix premixes detergent with water in a dedicated chamber before releasing it onto the load, so the solution absorbs straight into the weave rather than sitting on top as undissolved powder.
