Description
Colour is stated two ways — ask us to confirm before ordering
The listing title gives the colour as White/Grey while the supplied specification states White/Blue in two separate places. If the colour matters to you, call 9710000251 and we will confirm what is actually in stock before you order. Note also that one paragraph in the supplied material refers to steam control — this is a dry iron with no steam function, and that text belongs to a different product.
ISI Approved.
On a Kilowatt in Your Hand, That Matters.
A dry iron with the certification and the protection you actually want on a mains heating appliance · ISI approved — tested to the Indian standard, not simply assembled to a price · overheat protection and a cool-touch shock-proof body · 1200 W, enough to press heavy cotton properly rather than skimming it · a non-stick coated soleplate over a stainless steel base, so it glides and resists residue · variable temperature control for every fabric · a 360° swivel cord · a thermostat indicator light · just 600 g · 2 year manufacturer warranty

overheat
cut-outthe two things worth paying for
An iron is deceptively demanding: a kilowatt of heat held in one hand, often used on a bed or the floor, plugged into whatever socket is nearest, and frequently left switched on while someone answers the door. Two things on this model address that directly, and both are worth asking about on any iron. ISI approval means the design has been tested against the Indian safety standard for this class of appliance — insulation, earthing, temperature limits and construction — rather than simply meeting a price. Cheaper unmarked irons are widely sold and are exactly where problems begin. Overheat protection is the second layer: a thermal cut-out that interrupts power if the element runs beyond its safe temperature, which is the failure mode that scorches clothes and starts fires. Neither replaces unplugging the iron when you finish, but together they are the difference between an appliance with safeguards and one without.
1200 W — and why the extra 200 watts is not marketing
Wattage on an iron determines two things that matter in practice: how quickly it reaches temperature, and how well it holds that temperature once the plate meets cold damp fabric. The second is the one people notice. A lower-powered iron heats up fine on an empty board and then loses temperature the moment it hits a thick cotton kurta or a bedsheet, so it stops pressing and starts merely warming — which is why creases keep reappearing and the same patch needs three passes. 1200 W recovers faster, so the plate stays at working temperature through a long run of heavy fabric. For thin synthetics none of this matters and the lowest setting is all you need. For cotton, linen, denim and starched clothing it is the difference between finishing a basket in twenty minutes and fighting it for forty.
Non-stick over stainless steel — the construction underneath matters
The supplied specification gives the base material as stainless steel with a non-stick coating over it, and that combination is worth understanding because the two layers do different jobs. Stainless steel underneath provides even heat distribution — no cold patches at the edges or a hot spot in the middle, which is what makes a plate press consistently rather than in streaks. The non-stick coating on top provides the glide and stops residue bonding to the surface. That second part is what saves clothes: once a bare plate has picked up melted polyester or scorched starch, it deposits brown marks on everything ironed afterwards. On a coated plate most residue wipes off cold with a damp cloth. One habit protects it — never run the plate over zips, hooks or metal buttons, which is what scratches a coating and starts the problem.

Keep the warranty card and your invoice together. The two-year cover runs from date of purchase, and a claim generally needs the invoice — which is one reason to buy on a proper GST bill rather than without one.
🎯 Suited to
This is a dry iron — no water tank, no steam. For stubborn creases in thick cotton, dampen the fabric lightly with a spray bottle first; that gets most of the benefit of steam. If you want a steam iron, ask us and we will show you both.
An easy dial with fabric markings — set it to match the care label rather than using one setting for everything.
The light cycles off when the plate reaches the set temperature, so you know when to start rather than guessing.
The cord rotates freely at the iron, so it does not kink or drag whichever way you turn the plate.
Light in the hand across a full basket, and easy to store or pack — a modest weight for a 1200 W iron.

Warranty as per Inalsa terms and conditions — 2 years from date of purchase as stated in supplier material. The scope of cover, parts and labour, exclusions, product registration and the service process are subject to brand policy and the final invoice or warranty card. Soleplate coatings, cords and thermostats may be subject to different cover; damage arising from misuse, ironing over metal fasteners, use on unearthed supply, immersion in water or unauthorised servicing is commonly excluded. Supplier material states the colour as White/Grey in the listing title and White/Blue in the specification; this should be confirmed before purchase. One paragraph of supplied manufacturer text refers to variable steam control; this product is a dry iron with no steam function and that text does not apply to it. Product dimensions, cord length, temperature range, heat-up time, the presence of automatic shut-off and country of origin are not stated in supplier material and should be confirmed before purchase. Overheat protection is a thermal cut-out that interrupts power if the element exceeds its safe temperature; it is not an automatic shut-off function and does not switch the appliance off when left idle. ISI approval is as stated by the manufacturer and indicates conformity to the applicable Indian standard for this class of appliance; the certification mark and licence number on the unit may be verified. Power of 1200 W is the electrical input rating; higher input generally supports faster temperature recovery on heavy fabrics but is not by itself a measure of ironing quality. Ironing results depend on fabric type, moisture content, the temperature setting selected, technique and the surface ironed on. This appliance is a dry iron and has no water tank; it is not a steam iron or garment steamer, and water must not be poured into it. Explanations of certification, thermal protection, soleplate construction and power recovery provided here are general information to aid understanding and are not manufacturer specifications. Non-stick descriptions are as stated by the manufacturer and describe relative performance rather than immunity to damage. This product is a household appliance and not a medical device. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or condition, and no health outcome is claimed or implied. The appliance reaches temperatures capable of causing severe burns, scorching fabric and starting fires. It must never be left unattended while hot or connected to the mains, must never be left resting on its soleplate on fabric or a board cover, and must be stood upright on its heel between passes. It must be unplugged immediately after use and allowed to cool completely before storage; the soleplate retains heat long after the appliance is switched off. Clothing must never be ironed while being worn. The appliance must be connected to a properly earthed three-pin socket; unearthed adaptors and loose sockets must not be used. It must not be operated with wet hands, must be kept away from water and must never be immersed. Children and animals must be kept away from the appliance, its cord and its cooling position. Ironing should be carried out on a stable, heat-resistant surface. The soleplate must not be run over zips, hooks, metal buttons or pins. The cord must not be wrapped around a hot iron, and the appliance must be withdrawn from use if the cord or plug is damaged, frayed or becomes warm in use. Fabric care labels should be checked and the temperature setting matched accordingly, testing on an inconspicuous area where there is any doubt. Discontinue use immediately in the event of smoke, burning odour, sparking or tripping of the electrical supply.
