The in-tank UV LED is the one worth understanding. A normal UV stage treats water on its way into the tank and then leaves it there. This one keeps a UV LED working inside the storage tank itself, so the nine litres sitting in reserve overnight — or through a quiet weekday when the family is out — are still protected when someone finally pours a glass at 11 PM.
