Scan to Cook turns your smartphone camera into the control panel. Point it at the barcode on a packet of frozen snacks, ready-to-eat curry or popcorn and the LG ThinQ app sends the correct power level, time and cooking mode straight to the oven — no dialling, no guessing, no half-cold centre. Wi-Fi also gives you remote start and monitoring, so you can begin preheating the convection oven from the car and walk into a kitchen that is already ready, plus recipe downloads that add new auto-cook menus to the oven over time. In a house where four different people use the microwave at four different times, everyone gets the same result the app decides on — which is the whole point.
Pull-down door + 32 litres — built for a real Indian kitchen counter
The door hinges at the bottom and folds down flat, the way a built-in oven does. Nudge it open with a forearm while both hands are holding a hot rotisserie skewer, and the open door becomes a landing shelf at counter height for the tray you just pulled out. There is no side swing arc to plan around either — the door stays inside the appliance's own footprint, which matters in a compact Delhi flat where the microwave sits in an alcove or between two cabinets.
