A cooling-only AC sits idle for four months of the year while a separate heater gets dragged out, plugged into an overloaded socket and stored again in February. This is a heat pump: it reverses in winter and delivers 4.16 kW of heating from the same wall unit, on 1290 W of input. That matters practically — no second appliance to buy or store, no cupboard space lost, and heating that's distributed by the same 4-way swing rather than roasting whoever sits nearest. A heat pump also moves heat rather than generating it by resistance, so it's a considerably more efficient way to warm a room than a coil heater.
AI Dual Inverter with 5-in-1 — capacity matched to the actual load
A fixed-speed compressor switches fully on and off, which means temperature swings, a power surge at every restart, and a room that's alternately too cold and too warm. LG's AI Dual Inverter varies speed continuously to hold the set temperature with small adjustments — quieter, steadier, cheaper to run. On top, Super Convertible 5-in-1 Cooling lets you dial the effective capacity down when fewer people are in the room and back up in peak summer, so you aren't paying to overcool. Active Energy Control caps consumption when you want it capped, and Power Cooling pulls a hot room down fast when you first walk in.
