276 litres is the size a three-to-four member Delhi household actually lives at. Smart Mode is the one that earns its keep quietly. In a Delhi winter the kitchen sits at 10–15°C and in June it crosses 45°C — the same dial setting means two very different jobs for the compressor, and Smart Mode is what makes the result the same in both.
