The sound of a footstep behind you should come from behind you. The S65TR is a physical 5.1 system: the bar handles left, centre and right at screen level, the subwoofer takes the low end from wherever you park it, and two rear speakers sit behind the sofa carrying the surround channels. Nothing here is being faked out of a single bar in front of you — the rear channel of a Dolby Digital 5.1 mix is played by a speaker that is genuinely behind your ears. For a cricket match, a shooter, or a film with a proper mix, that is the difference between hearing a soundstage and sitting inside one. And with 600 W behind it, a Delhi drawing room fills easily.
AI Sound Pro — the system tunes itself as the evening changes
An evening in an Indian home moves through four kinds of content before bedtime. News at eight, a serial after it, a film at nine, the highlights at eleven — each one wants a different balance between dialogue, effects and bass. AI Sound Pro listens to what is playing and classifies it in real time, then adjusts the surround processing, the EQ, dialogue clarity and bass management to suit. A news bulletin gets speech pushed forward; a film gets dynamic range and weight; a match gets the crowd opened out around you; a music track gets an even, harmonic balance. All four transitions happen without anybody picking up a remote.
Wireless subwoofer and wireless rears — a home theatre a rented flat can actually take
The reason most people never install rear speakers is the wiring: two cables running the length of the drawing room, along the skirting or under the carpet, in a flat you may not want to drill. The S65TR's rear speakers carry their own built-in receivers and pair wirelessly with the bar, and the subwoofer does the same — so the only thing each unit needs is a power point. Put the rears behind the sofa, tuck the subwoofer beside the TV unit or against the wall, mount the 85 cm bar under the screen, and the room stays as it was. It is a full home theatre that installs in an afternoon and leaves nothing to trip over.

🛠️ What is on board
WOW Interface is the one an LG household feels every day — the soundbar's controls appear inside the TV's own on-screen menu and answer to the TV remote, and the volume moves together, so the second remote never leaves the drawer.
Dolby Digital 5.1 is the surround format that carries the bulk of what an Indian home actually watches — set-top box channels, mainstream OTT streaming and console games. The S65TR decodes it and hands each of the six channels to the speaker that was mixed for it.
The bar is 85 cm wide and 8.7 cm deep, so it sits neatly under most large screens or mounts flat on the wall beneath one. At 6.3 cm high it clears the bottom edge of a wall-hung television without creeping into the picture.
Rear speakers earn their place fastest with live sport and games: the stadium opens up around the sofa, and in a shooter you hear which direction a footstep came from. That is positional information a single bar in front of you cannot give.
